President Donald J. Trump is allowing former President Barack Obamas catch and release of illegal immigrants to continue deep into his administrations term with no end in sight to the controversial open borders protocol. Border Patrol agents are once again sounding the alarm and alerting the public about the separation between DCs rhetoric and the realities on the U.S.-Mexico border a practice that the agents hoped would become unnecessary under the Trump Administration.
Though Trumps interior enforcement of U.S. immigration laws has resulted in far fewer illegal crossings at the border, agents say that low numbers will not be sustained because the Trump Administration has not actually made substantial changes within border security as a whole.
Border Patrol Agent Brandon Judd, President of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC), spoke with Breitbart Texas on Trumps quiet continuation of Obamas catch and release. He stated, Obamas catch and release is definitely continuing and our government is releasing illegal aliens into U.S. communities. The steps taken for such releases have slightly changed and the numbers are not as high, but it is still occurring. Under Trump, ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] is holding more illegal aliens than what they did under Obama, but make no mistake, ICE is still releasing a good number of illegal aliens into U.S. communities. Americans need to know this.

I don’t mind catch and release at the Broder, have a blast.
It’s the border that is important.
Como say whaaa??
"Though Trumps interior enforcement of U.S. immigration laws has resulted in far fewer illegal crossings at the border"

Como say Fake News.....
......Breitbart is having some fail.....hope it won’t be epic
You make a left at covfefe. Can't miss it.
I think the Senators like it that way. They hope the whole business will evaporate if they give it time.
(Yeah, maybe like raw milk.)
No problem.... as long as the “release” is 1,000 feet higher than the “catch”.
When I’m fishing with “mein broder”, we always catch-and-release.
Trump and team need to get off their asses to name more appointments.
Seems as though Kevin needs his morning cup of covfefe.
I suspect that many Obozo weasels are embedded in the rank and file.........................
When you say “fake news,” do you mean that the head of the National Border Patrol Council, Brandon Judd never said what Breitbart says he said, or do you mean that Breitbart knew or should have known that Judd was lying and published his claims anyway?
If this is true; I’m pissed. That southern border needs to be 100% secure or as close as possible and those attempting to cross must pay a price so heavy future jumpers won’t even think about it because they will be spending a year at a work farm for no pay.
I don’t care if agents with mini-guns shooting a thousand rounds a minute need to be set up at key locations to mow the crossers down.
Why are they still releasing people?
I know he seems to be honoring the “dreamer” thing, except where they get caught up with law enforcement. But the article doesn’t explain “why” they are releasing people who have been caught. Family ties? Obvious hardship to the families? Long residence here? Is there a formal or informal criteria for not immediately deporting?

Denial of reality will not spare you the consequences of denying reality.
None of that should be happening. Anyone caught at the border should be returned to Mexico immediately. We either have the rule of law or we don’t.
We still don’t.
Catch-N-Release...into da Grease!
Here are the still pending appointments who are not yet permanent: Kevin McAleenan, acting commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection; Ron Vitiello, acting deputy commissioner of Customs and Border Protection and Carla Provost, acting Chief of the U.S. Border Patrol.
