California Congresswoman Maxine Waters got a taste of her own medicine when a constituent threatened to have her impeached.
Melani Bell confronted Waters on Sunday, slamming her for her disrespectful treatment of President Trump and her repeated hollow threats to impeach him. Theyre empty threats because of the bipartisan agreement that Trump has committed no impeachable offense.
Im going to work every day to make sure that he isnt impeached and that youre impeached! Bell vowed.
A furious Waters shot back: You cant impeach a member of Congress! No, you cannot impeach a member of Congress!
Bell posted a YouTube video of the encounter, where she revealed that she had been ignored despite repeatedly calling Waters office and emailing her for five minutes of your time.

But he’s the only one who is sane.
I saw one that said that the Russians mind hacked all 62 million Trump voters.
You mean she’s correct??!!
Even a broken clock is right twice a day. This is a first for her.
You can easily be this stupid and be the puppet of someone who hold this much power.
You are correct in that Maxine cannot be impeached; however...
You’re confusing impeachment with removal from office. They are two different things. Bill Clinton was impeached. However, he was not removed from office.
Impeachment is analogous to indictment in regular court proceedings; trial by the other house is analogous to the trial before judge and jury in regular courts. Typically, the lower house of the legislature impeaches the official and the upper house conducts the trial. In Clinton’s case the House did their part, but the Senate muffed.
Slick was “indicted” but not “convicted” and went on to serve the remainder of his term in office.
The person who said it was confused. I wasn’t.
Sorry...I guess I was confused too... :-)
Not a problem, I’ve been confused before :)
