California Congresswoman Maxine Waters got a taste of her own medicine when a constituent threatened to have her impeached.
Melani Bell confronted Waters on Sunday, slamming her for her disrespectful treatment of President Trump and her repeated hollow threats to impeach him. Theyre empty threats because of the bipartisan agreement that Trump has committed no impeachable offense.
Im going to work every day to make sure that he isnt impeached and that youre impeached! Bell vowed.
A furious Waters shot back: You cant impeach a member of Congress! No, you cannot impeach a member of Congress!
Bell posted a YouTube video of the encounter, where she revealed that she had been ignored despite repeatedly calling Waters office and emailing her for five minutes of your time.

Sounds a lot more believable than the pap being thrown around this weekend “You cannot impeach a woman of color”.
Had a feeling that was a bogus headline...
He looks much better than she, but some day, hopefully soon, the maggots will improve her looks.
I saw her at the Daily Grill in the Westin Hotel near LAX over the weekend. Man, she is uglier in person than in her photos. Must be all that bile and venom expressing itself outwardly in her countenance.
“Kick her out! Kick her out!”
I can’t believe you can be this stupid and hold this much power...
This tempest in a teapot is about two parallel means of punishment. On one side is the fact that the Constitution says that Congress has the means of expelling members. On the other side is the Constitutional impeachment powers.
Both authorities are broad but come with restrictions. Congress has full authority over it’s membership but is limited to that membership. The Impeachment power is limited to crimes and only to civil officers. In this situation, I believe that Impeachment would only apply to Waters -IF- there was a crime committed while serving as an officer in the government. I do not believe that is the case.
So the only resort would be to use the expelling authority of Congress.
Maxine Waters, whose incessant tweets and tirades about Donald Trump have become a thing of internet legend, was named one of the most corrupt members of Congress by the non-partisan group CREW (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington) for a virtually endless string of accusations and/or violations. Waters made the CREW list in 2005, 2006, 2009, 2011 and appears poised to keep the roll alive in 2017.
Freedom Daily is now reporting that Democrat blowhard, Maxine Waters of California also does not live in the district she is supposed to. Her lapse in fidelity to the rules is even more egregious than Ossoffs.
Waters, who has fulfilled the analogy of an empty can to the tee, has spun her reputation as a fighter for the low and lower middle classes, especially Blacks. It turns out that her schtick is even more sickening than that of a used car salesman.
Maxines district is in some of the rougher areas of Southern California including Inglewood and South Los Angeles, the Daily article reports, In contrast, her home is just east of Beverly Hills, in ultra-ritzy Hancock Park, next to other multi-million dollar mansions.

In stark contrast to her district, only 3.8% of the population of Hancock Park is black.
Besides looking incredibly hypocritical and self-serving, this fact also technically bars her from voting in the district she represents and should disqualify her from her seat in the House.
When have the rules, however, ever stopped or held Democrats accountable. Thats reserved for Republicans.

So it appears that Maxine is right. She cannot be impeached, but the House can vote to remove her. But it won’t. Not necessarily because of cowardliness but because of reality. Her constituents would simply vote her back into office. The House could vote to not seat her, but I think everyone here can see how that would play out—brave, outspoken black woman being removed from office by evil white men.
The woman who is shown dancing and singing just after Belushi has his revelation is Chaka Khan, who (when the Blues Brothers was filmed) in 1979 was a moderately successful recording talent, but not a superstar like Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, or James Brown.
We need her to provide two things: comedy relief and to show how exactly the left thinks.
RE: #1; James was a good entertainer.
Doesn’t the Emirite of Kalifornia have recall election rights?

Years ago while driving to meet my future in-laws for the first time we passed through Blount County Tennessee. I remarked that we were in "Blunt" County. She replied, its "Blaunt" (as in 'ouch'). "Blunt", "Blaunt", "Blunt", "Blaunt", "He was my relative, its "Blunt". I think that was the last argument I won.

Note: The Committee on Ethics recommended that Williams be expelled because of his “ethically repugnant” conduct in the Abscam scandal, for which he was convicted of conspiracy, bribery, and conflict of interest. Prior to a Senate vote on his expulsion, Williams resigned on March 11, 1982.
