Fox News Channel lent support to its best-known anchor Sean Hannity, saying Thursday that the popular host would return to its air next week following a Memorial Day holiday vacation – an effort to tamp down speculation that a controversy currently enveloping Hannity could escalate further.
“Like the rest of the country, Sean Hannity is taking a vacation for Memorial Day weekend and will be back on Tuesday,” the 21st Century Fox-owned network said in a statement. “Those who suggest otherwise are going to look foolish.”

If he comes back neutered, his ratings will crater.
If he doesn’t return to FOX it will be the last nail in FOX’s conservative coffin. There is now an open niche for a channel/broad cast company to step into the conservative information presenter to the American people. True News Channel.

what i’d REALLY like to see is an actual JOURNALIST channel. Where the presenters get FIRED the moment someone knows their ideological position. Where the news is presented without inflection or bias. Where real journalism is pursued and realized. I’d like to see a real journalist go after BOTH sides of this putrid snake infested swamp. A real journalist would expose the media democrat alliance. A real journalist would pursue the monetary connections between soros, the 501c3 radicals and the democrats. A real journalist would dig around and locate the connections between the RINO republican mccains and grahams and the communists. Follow the money.
Like the American constitutional guarantee of a republican form of government. A fun fantasy while it lasted.

With his popularity and likely offers from other programs and networks, I doubt he is susceptible to being “reined in”....
I'd be very surprised but pleased if he doesn't. Even if he does manage to remain an independent voice, there's still a problem. He's enabling Fox News, which has lost its way and strives to bring conservatives down a slippery slope, to survive. Is it worth the millions of dollars he'd lose by leaving? I can't believe he isn't already a wealthy enough man.

Abandoning their franchise in middle of the road reporting, meaning there is some reporting on the right, and instead going full head to head with CNNMSNPBCCBSCOMPOSTSLIMES in an oversaturated market appealing to those without any money.
We saw how this works. Just go ahead and piss off USAA customers to appeal to the left. It's a sure-fire strategy.
PLEASE, when or when can we get a conservative replacement for Fox news?
