Friday at the Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce in Irving, TX, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said some President Donald Trump political problems were self-inflicted.
Cruz said, What Im trying to do is just ignore the circus.

Stupid talk to the media who is out for blood on him - maybe you can teach a FReeper or two on stupid talk also?
Yep it is. He’s in the Big Leagues now, with everybody against him. That includes half of his party.
If he doesn’t follow through on the wall like he promised, he’ll lose millions of votes in the next election unless something else distracts folks, like a major world war.
I agree
+1
When the president takes advice or criticism from you, then I’ll be the one to call for his impeachment.
And knock off on LJ as well. She was posting excellent political commentary on FR when you were sitting in your high chair throwing oatmeal, Mr. 2014.
OK, you’re right. Cruz is on the team. Just wish we had one senator or congressman who is a 100% Trump supporter.

"Donald Trump was the first Republican candidate for president who got my vote since 2000. He's also the first political candidate -- at any level of government -- who I've supported financially."
"She [#NeverTrumper Kendal Unruh] is right to question the future of the GOP, since there is no Republican candidate in this presidential election. This is a race between a Democrat and an independent who used the Republican primary system to get on the national ballot." -Alberta's Child

Given what we know about who punked Rick Wilson with the Trump dirt back in January 2016, and Ted Cruz played off it with that snark of Trump's New York ‘values’ in that New Hampshire debate... Ol, Tuesday night Ted is in no position to be giving advice.
1. You find a post from March 2016 when I said I wasn't a Trump supporter? You'll find plenty of people all over FreeRepublic who are in the same boat, dude. LOL.
2. Nothing in your second post contradicts what I've posted here. Trump is not a Republican at all, but he certainly ran on the Republican ticket. When I went to vote last November the ballot in my polling place said: "Donald J. Trump -- Republican" and not "Donald J. Trump -- Independent" ... even though I voted for him because he's NOT a "real" Republican.
They did that many years ago. Trump is trying to undo a lot of that. That’s where the conflict comes in.
I watched a puppet for the past 8 years. One whose only background was what you liberals wanted it to be not what it really was.A GENIUNE PHONY THAT fooled people that did not know how to reason or look at Anything objectively.Real leader of sheep.
Again, calm done, drink a shot (or two) and re-read my posts.
Your anger/frustration needs to be aimed at libs and never-trumpers - I’m not one of those. Chill... ;)
My advice remains, take some serious chill pills.
Trump has serious foot in mouth syndrome and a lot of his unquestionable followers need to use their brains, at least a little bit.
And stop acting so childish that just because I joined in 2014 that makes any difference regarding my posts.
You and I agree on far more than we disagree, I suggest you focus on that.
I suggest you learn to keep your large, rude mouth shut. You have no business insulting LJ who is a wonderful person with far more cred here than you. As does Trump.
‘Trump has serious foot in mouth syndrome’
How about some examples.
Thank you, dear miss marmelstein!
Anyone who believes:
1. ANYTHING any the media says/writes
2. Or that the media is greatly influential
Is beyond stupid....
Last figures I saw, a couple of months ago sometime, and polls are notoriously skewed the “other” way, showed that at most 30% of the people trust the media, and more than 50% trust Trump.
The media is out to destroy Trump and one of their main methods is to peel his supporters away from him with utter LIES.
The media can go (insert rude verb) itself. And that is precisely what it is doing! hahahaha
They will only peel away the scaredy cats - some of them here on FR, sadly. Hope you’re well.
I agree - they can’t peel away very many, only those primed to believe nonsense.
The years go by fast, don’t they? Getting old is very ... interesting. Lots of lessons to be learned as the body starts not being quite so reliable. To me, it’s a good time to pay more attention to the spiritual side of life - the adventure.
I hope you are well and in good spirits.
