Brainerd High School is at the center of a social media storm set off by actor Scott Baio, the former Happy Days star and supporter of GOP President Donald Trump.
Baio tweeted and posted on Facebook a page from the schools yearbook that was filled with criticism of Trump by students. What set him off was one comment by a student that read, I would like to behead him. I do not like him.
Baio tweeted the yearbook page on Friday morning, copying the presidents personal Twitter account as well as those of the FBI, presidential spokeswoman Kellyanne Conway and Fox News commentator Sean Hannity.
By early afternoon, commenters were flooding the Brainerd High School Facebook page with angry criticism.
One commenter said the student should be reported to Homeland Security and charged with terroristic threatening. Another asked, This is Minnesota nice?

Had this been a yearbook in Georgia or Texas and it said "I would like to behead him" about Obama, we would have never heard the end of it.
No way this didn't get past faculty oversight.
Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind. The Left has stepped in it.
Brained High School, where the class on animal husbandry includes a wedding license.
Faculty and OTHER adults had to review/okay this BS, prior to going to print.
Fire the yearbook teacher.
It’s Minnesota. They approve of this stuff.
High school kids enjoy saying outlandish things.
It doesn’t mean he wrote that with real anger or seriousness
Oh those wacky indoctrinated kids! What will they do next? Oh yes, act like Nazis with their own version Kristallnacht if you merely want to practice your 1st amendment right. This is flat out child abuse by the way. Kids are naive and innocent. If we continue to allow our schools to poison the minds of our kids this country will be finished and it almost was if it wasn’t for Trump. Kids replace us and what the left is trying to do is make sure all these kids grow up into America hating fanatics.
In a sane world, the Yearbook advisor would be fired. But we’re in a culture war wherein the leftist faculty know their union and administration have their back.
Remember reading a post on here of another High School where they pulled the Year Books for someone having something to do with Trump support.
Brainerd is near Lake Wobegon, so I guess it’s no surprise if the kids are a bunch of little Garrison Keillors.
Just liked him on FB.
Didn’t a high school recently confiscate every yearbook in the school because people were writing horrible pro-Trump messages? Such as: “Build the Wall”.
And Michelle is telling people Trump hates children. Talk about low class.
No way this didn’t get past faculty oversight.
Michelle who? The wookie? How did she get into this story?
Why are they afraid to show the kid’s name? He/she was willing to put the comment in public.

Typically, the Yearbook focuses on/showcases the graduating class...if writer is a senior, they are likely 18—legal adult, and they really need to grow up and learn they cannot go around making statements like that against the President of United States...or anyone else for that matter without repercussions.
