Ivanka Trump has been tapped by her father, President Donald Trump, to review the United States’ commitment to the Paris Climate Change agreement, signed by former President Barack Obama as an executive agreement in 2015 without congressional approval, the Associated Press is reporting.
The agreement requires countries to cut greenhouse emissions on a country-by-country basis, with Obama committing the U.S. to reduce carbon emissions by at least 26 percent below 2005 levels by 2025.
The U.S. is expected to have a representative at the United Nations’ climate change meeting in Bonn, Germany, next week but Trump’s advisers — including daughter Ivanka and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt — are meeting on Tuesday in Washington to decide whether to stick with or withdraw from the deal.

Irvanka and Jared need to go back to New York where they belong.
They really need to let her bow out of all these things they’re “floating her” ere and there without any specific purpose.
It’s not only obvious they’re trying hard to find a place for her..but it’s beginning to look like a daughter who wants to be heard but has no clue where her voice would be of significance.
She has called herself an activist and feminist....so what in the world is she doing with Climate Change Issues?....It’s just looking ridiculous IMO.

I trust President Trump & I believe he’s doing an amazing job despite all the obstacles placed in his way daily. I have no problem with Jarad as his work and position is clear and known......I do have a problem with Ivanka being floated around without a purpose other than to float here and there. .....and this somehow is suppose to fit with her own self declared ambition to be an activist and feminist seeking power of her own.
She just seems to be all about being seen and possibly heard but has no direction in just exactly why she is there to begin with. I find it hard to take note when she herself has stated she isn’t aware of what she’s suppose to be doing.

When I voted for candidate Trump it was because I believe he is a change agent who defeats our enemies in multiple ways on a daily basis. I trust the man. Sad to see a few on FR never did. I expect as President Trump checks off campaign promise after campaign promise over the next 4-8 years these same people will be bitter like McLame & continue to bitch & moan.
This isn’t about trusting Trump.......and your post certainly evidences you’re the one ranting more than others, who are simply explaining their concerns with obvious reasons for that.
IMO Ivanka simply desires a position in Washington because she has her own agenda seeking power she wants to weld and has stated so.
So far she has just been floated around without any significant role of what she is doing....even when asked she herself is in the dark and can’t say what she is there for.
So people have good reason to question what’s going on with a daughter being present at specific meetings who as yet is simply there without any position.
Personally I have a problem with Ivanka’s lack of understanding herself why she is there. Where as Jarad has a position and knows the direction he’s taking and this with purpose. Further he does not seek “camera ready” photo ops as Ivanka does.
So there’s plenty of reasons for folks to wonder and object.

After reading the same “I didn’t vote for them” over & over again on multiple threads for weeks & weeks it smells like the same BS that poured through here during the primaries. I believe it’s an attempt to divide President Trump’s base. Thankfully, as with so many attempts to tear down President Trump have been it’s failing.
That’s just nonsense Lakeshark.........just because Ivanka has been a trusted daughter in the family business does not automatically qualify her for a place in ‘our’ government. You make it sound like Trump needs her like a babysitter or dotting wife......he doesn’t.
My opinion is the most significant men in her life were on their way to Washington.....her father and husband......so she wasn’t about to be left out of that loop. ..and it is she that needs to be with them....they sure as heck don’t need her which is evidenced in their struggle to find a place for her there.
Do you remember when Trump came out strong against PPP? Remember the next day he said he talked to Ivanka and she told him about all the good things PPP does for women's health so he backed up on shutting down PPP, he has not repositioned to his former stance.
