Dem Senator Calls for Special Prosecutor to Investigate Huma Abedin

Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) appeared on MSNBC's “Morning Joe” on Thursday to discuss the news from Wednesday's James Comey hearing. More specifically, the topic was the FBI director revealing that longtime Hillary Clinton advisor Huma Abedin forwarded classified emails to then-husband Anthony Weiner, ostensibly so he could print them out.

“Do you believe that is a crime?” panelist Willie Geist asked to open the Blumenthal interview. “If there was classified information and it was improperly passed to a person unauthorized to receive it? Yes, it’s a crime,” the senator replied. ”Without knowing what the intentions were and so forth, there is potentially a prosecutable crime."

We don’t need special prosecutors for any of them. Their crimes are more than apparent. They simply need to be charged, prosecuted and imprisoned.

You figured it out.

Anyone who knows the same Blumenthal knows that there’s no way the suggestion would ever have been made for the purpose of the pursuit of truth and/or justice. The only reason it would be suggested would be if it were believed that a special prosecutor could be used as a means of neutering any investigation, as Ken Starr did so skillfully on behalf of his longtime associates, the Clintons.

Sounds to me like a plan to “investigate” and declare that she had no intent of the crime.

A planned whitewashing of Huma.

Huma had a TS clearance in order to carry out her duties as a (SGE) special government employee according to JW. It didn’t give her the right to mishandle the data. http://www.judicialwatch.org/press-room/press-releases/new-documents-huma-abedin/

Intention is not relevant

Huma committed a hanging crime. Death must be her punishment. Ditto for hillary

The RATS are going to “sacrifice” her to save Hitlery’s fat azz.
Hope it backfires and both of em, along with others of their traitorous ilk, end up in a federal pen, preferably GITMO.

I’m sick and tired of the word “intent” when it comes to these lawless bastards...”Intent” is not an excuse when innocent lives are on the line.

Yep, nice little carrot dangle. However, once they get that special prosecutor on board, they will attempt to set the precedent that these type investigations can not be handled by Session’s Justice Department.

This needs to be rejected immediately.

“Slimy Blumenthal is up to something .....”

Ken Starr must be willing to “investigate” this.

He makes Debbie Washerwoman-Shitz look like a queen by comparison.

Yes, and at least she isn' so sickeningly corrupt to claim she was a war hero, as did Dickless Stolen Valor Blumenthal.

This piece of filth ought to face a firing squad.

”Without knowing what the intentions were...

There's that intentions bullshit again!

Using Comey's and this moron's criteria, 2nd degree murderers wouldn't be jailed because they didn't intend to kill! Only first degree (pre-meditated) murder would be punishable!

I don’t remember the military caring about the “intentions” of someone releasing classified material.I don’t remember the military caring about the “intentions” of someone releasing classified material.

Me neither, it's just a big stinkbomb smokescreen emitted from Comey.

That’s what baffles me, the law States gross negligence is all that is required for a conviction for passing classified info. I would think doing it thousands of times could not only be called negligent, but intentional as hell.

“In high school I had a 1966 Mustang fastback with a hoped up 396.” ........ Perhaps you are confused. The 396 is a Chevy engine. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Big-Block_engine#396_and_402 ...... The biggest engine available in the Mustang in 1966 was the 289 cu. in. 271 hp. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Mustang_%28first_generation%29#1964.E2.80.931966 ........ I had a 1967 Mustang 390 cu. in. 325 hp. It only weighed 2600 lbs. Very fast. Same car as the one in the movie “Bullitt”. Mine was yellow.

Ooops, that was a slip. Ford made a 390 not 396. I bought the car really cheap because the engine was blown and I had to replace it so she engine wasn’t stock. I had a hot-rod shop garage install it. (This was 1975) The engine wasn’t otherwise special except for a set of headers and a 4 barrel. I bought it, from a catalog the shop had.

I think that the first year the 390 was listed as available was either 69 or 70 but the there was room under the hood for the big block as long as there was a scoop for the air cleaner. All I know is they made it fit.

I wish I still had the car.

Honest mistake. First year for the 390 in a Mustang was 1967, as noted in my post. Bought my Mustang at auction from Ford Motor Credit Co. in 1968 for $1500. They said it was a repo. Went in the Army in 1969, sold it when I got out in 1972, and bought a 1970 Challenger. The Dodge went around corners a lot better. Both were great cars.

Did I just enter a new dimension?

“I don’t remember the military caring about the “intentions” of someone releasing classified material.”

If you, any Freepers or I with TS SCI clearances had done what the Clintoon thugs did and were caught. We would still be in a federal prison. Intent would not have been an issue.
