Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) appeared on MSNBC's Morning Joe on Thursday to discuss the news from Wednesday's James Comey hearing. More specifically, the topic was the FBI director revealing that longtime Hillary Clinton advisor Huma Abedin forwarded classified emails to then-husband Anthony Weiner, ostensibly so he could print them out.
Do you believe that is a crime? panelist Willie Geist asked to open the Blumenthal interview. If there was classified information and it was improperly passed to a person unauthorized to receive it? Yes, its a crime, the senator replied. Without knowing what the intentions were and so forth, there is potentially a prosecutable crime."

A Dem with more courage, actually brains than most GOP. Put the freak away. Put Hillary away. Deal with law breaking in DC, or DC is not a legitimate government.
Sap happy Hillary signs autographs at joint appearance w/ Huma's mother.
Yep. Faux outrage.
Poor Huma. Didnt Coyoyomey say she didnt know right from wrong or some nonsense?
Remember, Dems only need to say things to get credit, not actually do something.
“Deal with law breaking in (and/or from) DC, or DC is not a legitimate government.”
Bravo
He had to add the intent clause. That just doesn’t make any sense to me in this case.
So does Blumenthal think it’s a crime that Hillary improperly faxed classified info to her maid so she could print it? Same scenario as with Huma and her Weiner.
BUMP!
What a HORRIBLE WASTE of a Marine.
She’ll just be allowed to skate.
OOOhhh - look over there - let’s get Huma Abedin - forget about Hillary Clinton (who actually mishandled the classified info to begin with)......
He’d have to see Hillary as the primary criminal but be aware of the sh!t storm going directly after her would raise. This may work and get Hillary as well. Huma will have to put up a defense.
Intent Schmintent.
Having held TS/SCI w/Poly clearance, I can tell you that passing secret information of any form to someone without the required clearance is in and of itself a crime.
Also, even if such person does have the required clearance, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they have the right to see it. Sensitive information is passed on need-to-know basis and the person passing such information must have the authority [or given permission] to do so. To do otherwise is a crime.
“Next time youre speeding, try the Comey defense. I didnt intend to speed.
I actually sort of used that once -— accidentally.
In high school I had a 1966 Mustang fastback with a hoped up 396.
I was going up North on US 289 near Plano Texas when it was still a rural farm area at about 2:00 AM and got stopped for going like 72 in a 55 zone.
When the cop asked me if I knew I was going 72 n a 55 zone I blurted out something like “Oh thank God! I wasn’t paying attention thought I was getting stopped for going really fast.”
The guy laughed and asked what I meant. I told him “Sir, if I’d been meaning to speed I’d have been going a lot faster than that!”
The guy laughed and let me off with a warning.
I’ve forgotten how it worked but less than 20 mph over the limit was basically low level misdemeanor and was really cheap. Over that amount and you were in a lot more trouble.
“Without knowing what the intentions were” -— That is the out they will use, just like Comey.
Where/from whom did Huma get the classified info?
illary?
That should be one of the questions asked by the grand jury or prosecutor.

Lmo56, you are absolutely correct.
The question of “where/from whom did Huma get the classified info” would lead straight to illary.
Where else would Huma have gotten the info?
So Huma gets left holding the hag’s bag? Humalarious.
She can’t print them out herself? Print classified material? Unaware of a possiblle crime? Really?
