Ending a five-month exile after her election loss, Hillary Clinton is returning to the public stage with plans to hit the paid speakers circuit, launch a political action committee and write a memoir about the campaign, according to a report.
Clinton, who was criticized during the presidential race for collecting six-figure paydays for making speeches to Wall Street firms, has a listing on speakers bureau the Harry Walker Agency that invites clients to “Book Hillary Rodham Clinton.”
She will also launch a PAC aimed at being a “quiet catalyst” for groups and organizations she backs, as well as helping fund 2018 Congressional candidates, although she has no intention of throwing her hat in the ring again, Axios reported on Wednesday, citing a source.
The former secretary of state also plans to become a opposition voice against President Trump when the occasion presents itself, the report said.
After allowing for a peaceful transition of power, Clinton will speak out on actions or comments Trump makes that go against her core beliefs.
That stance reflects remarks Clinton made on Tuesday during an interview on CNN about her post-election plans.
“So you know, I’m now back to being an activist citizen and part of the resistance,” she said during a Women for Women International charity luncheon.
