Congressional leaders have reached a deal to fund the government through the rest of the government's fiscal year, a congressional aide has confirmed to the Washington Examiner.
Republican and Democratic lawmakers agreed to a $1.070 trillion package to fund the government through September 30.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., praised the budget deal as a "good agreement for the American people" that "takes the threat of a government shutdown off the table."
"The bill ensures taxpayer dollars aren't used to fund an ineffective border wall, excludes poison pill riders, and increases investments in programs that the middle-class relies on, like medical research, education, and infrastructure,"
Schumer said in a statement. "Early on in this debate, Democrats clearly laid out our principles. At the end of the day, this is an agreement that reflects those principles."

We gave them the house, and the senate, and the presidency and the supreme court. BUT democrats still run the country (at least their agenda does)
This is unacceptable, This is betrayal. We are being screwed over yet again.
Please President Trump, DO NOT sign this terrible budget!
Please President Trump, DO NOT sign this terrible budget!

DITTO!!!
Completely unacceptable. These Republican ENEMIES need to get on board or get out of office.
If shumer is praising it then it is a a bad deal. Gope win again
Tell’ya folks, this government is too big, too intrusive, too expensive, too reckless, too comfortable.
If anything is to rob America of it's liberty and freedoms...it's big government. Republicans and Democrats.
We need to FLOOD the White House web site with our thoughts to the POTUS!!! VETO this DAMNED BUDGET!!!!!
It is a singularity—we have passed the event horizon and have been sucked into the black hole.
More funding for the National Institute of Health?—You can’t make this stuff up—big science has become just one more blood-sucking lobbying group.
Rush just said there’s actually something in the budget restricting money for going to the wall... and the Republicans are just fine with that.
Hope I'm wrong.
Is Obama still sending Budgets ?
Wow...
I just heard that.... I am barely holding it together. I cannot believe that a whole lot of those PA rally folks are not going to feel screwed over this. Every thing Obama and the globalists wanted got funded... everything!! Everything got funded but what Trump wanted.
You didn’t “give them” the Senate and the House.
The Senate and House, including the Republicans, are not on Trump’s side and are fighting him every step of the way.
He might as well have a congress controlled by Democrats.
Oh yes!! Planned Parenthood and sanctuary cities. If this is the art of the deal.... what the hell is failure?
There is still time to turn back, but Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney says trump WILL sign it.
Congressional GOPe.... snatching defeating AGAIN.
Just because Congress provides funding for something in the budget does NOT mean that the President must spend it.
The President cannot spend money that has not been appropriated by Congress (although Obama did). The President also cannot divert money appropriated by Congress for a different purpose (although Obama did). The President can, however, refuse to spend money that has been appropriated by Congress (every president has).
Then he can tell them no, with a veto
Time to choose, is this presidency a chance to MAGA? or just a speed bump on the road to ruin?
That is apparently true. See item number 1:
