I’ll take the window seat away from the centrifugal force.
Just encase going around in circles causes someone to puke.

As a former AF pilot, this idea horrifies me. The last thing I want to do is engage nose-wheel steering immediately after touchdown.

They actually tried this at Wright-Patterson AFB (then Wright Field) during WWII.
There’s a reason the idea didn’t catch on then.

Clever and breaking the norm. The radius of the circular runway will be the critical feature. The larger the radius, the closer to "apparent straightness" the runway will be. That means less bank for a landing airplane and less bank for runway construction.
Diminishing returns says too large of a radius makes the airport an impractical giant. On the plus side, urban encroachment will not diminish runway length.
Remember, it was initially difficult to land airplanes on a ship. It was thought to be very dangerous to land the shuttle in the glide mode with no go-around capability. Some people are stuck on the concept that future airplanes with be still configured as they are today.

Interesting. I didn’t see ground effect concerns.
Regardless. NASCAR pilots really like the idea
It will be easier for corkscrew landings which is most important for avoiding sniper fire when Hillary is landing.

Disoriented pilots...pranged wingtips, horizontal stabs, fuselages...blown tires...aircraft plowing over the top of the banked circle and crashing...aircraft ground looping and rolling over...aircraft colliding.
Dutch Demolition Derby!

How many hours of does this guy actually have in a log book? I ask, because something tells me that he has never piloted an aircraft in the real world.

There is something just plain wrong about the symbolism of a phallic fuselage aiming towards a circular runway.
Maybe it's just me...
