As Twitchy reported Wednesday, the New England Patriots called out the New York Times over a photo tweet comparing the turnout to meet President Trump to the much larger group that took up President Obamas invitation in 2015.

Isn’t idiot something required on a resume to get a job at the NYT?
At least he gave a real apology. Rare amongst his breed.
Yeah, everyone’s praising him for his apology. But did he apologize for the childish effort to smear the President or did he apologize for letting his glee at having a chance to smear the President put him in the position of getting caught? Yeah, the latter.
Rare to see NYSlimes anyone own up to a mistake, but their #FakeNews photo comparison is all over social media and the correction will never get the same attention. Ever.
He was probably worried he would get sued.
A nice apology...after being called out by the Patriots. What a guy. If his Failing New York Times weren’t trying to smear the President in the first place, there’d be no need for apologies. No fake news = no need for fake apologies. What a concept.
Would he have apologized if the correction came from Trump and not the Patriots?
Will the NYT be barred from a few White House press briefings as a result? Maybe for a week for this time and double it each subsequent time?
Until there are actual consequences they won’t have any real motivation to knock of their bullsh*t.
Hell to the no!
Would he have apologized if the correction came from Trump and not the Patriots?
Typical dishonest “journalist” loser feigning an apology...typical. How pathetic.
Most likely a Jets fan hahaha
I don’t consider this a sincere apology. He blamed the incident in stupidity but not on malice, which is more accurate.
Yes. He is an idiot. And his inability to resist the urge to jump to his bias confirmation conclusions without either competence or even effort at fact checking means he has proven himself utterly unqualified for any level of editor job.
Idiot? True but more partisan hack and scum bag.
Probably never imagined that the New England Patriots would bother to make a public rebuttal of the Times. Very unusual.
Bump
He’s not an Idiot. He’s a elitist, arrogant, journalistic charlatan. One who thinks most everyone else is a rube or idiot. The perfect person to be an editor for the NYT.
Hey, people make mistakes. The man owned up to his. If we could all have a little forgive and forget, we might be able to get something done for the good of the country, and everything would be a bit nicer.
