USA Today cannot be posted.
‘A federal civil asset forfeiture law would go a long way to getting the illegals to self-deport.’
absolutely!
Agreed.
Does Mexico have an equivalent program to deal with the Central Americans sneaking in across their southern border? yeah, I thought not.
Actually, I think they do....they give them a compass, tell them to head north til they see civilization, and keep going. They’ll even let them ride on top of a train, so they can get here faster. Of course, if they try to stick around in Mexico, they’re in BIG trouble! I mean, Mexico has a right to say who lives in their country, right?
Second, the article is wrong - more than three minor misdemeanors disqualifies anyone

So a DREAMER can be a minor criminal while an immigrant must be squeaky clean...
When I immigrated in 1971 I couldn’t have any crime of any sorts against my record...
Why aren’t illegal aliens held to the same rules ???
Yeah I know...silly question...
: )
It’s a start.
Buh bye, lil criminal taco eater : )
“:^)
“Some good news, deported in 3 hours? Wow.”
Because they had to wait 2 1/2 hours for the plane : )
He had no ID on him.
I don’t know about the rules for so called DACA but when I was still a Registered Alien I had to have my Alien Registration card AKA Green card on me at all times...
and consider a DR if an American doesn’t have his or her valid current DR on them and they get pulled over they still have to go to court and show the judge that they did have one at the timeo9f the ticket...
Imagine if you will how more important any type of immigration status ID would be...
that should be DL not DR...
He committed theft while in the United States which is in concert with the Trump policy of deporting illegal immigrants who have committed crimes against persons or property.
I never recall him making a pledge not to deport “dreamers.” He said they would potentially be tough cases.
This guy has four convictions.
There must be some circumstances, as well, that USA Today is not reporting (it is so sympathetic to the poor young man—with a traumatic brain injury; he returned to the US only after he was beaten up when brought to Mexico; and of course, he couldn’t understand the papers he had to sign. Even though he’s been here a long time and must know English).
If he still doesn’t know English, it further makes the case that he should be deported.
Totally agree. Waiting for criminals to be caught at more crimes before deporting is complicity. Enforce the law. Fiat justitia ruat coelum.
Their only mistake, not voting for Trump. 250,000 only 750,000 to go.
