RACINE The widow of a Racine delivery driver James Norris, who was gunned down on Racines north side in March 2016, is calling for a ban on hollow-point bullets that reportedly contributed to his death.
The guy bought the ammunition from Walmart that killed him, Stacy Blevins said. You dont buy hollow-point bullets unless you meant to kill him.
According to Racine Police, Norris was shot to death March 25, 2016, in the 3900 block of Green Street. He was found in the street next to his car door at an apartment complex where he had just delivered food from his employer Super Steaks and Lemonade.

Look at her. She's dirt poor, destitute with six kids. Husband gunned down by a black thug with a mile long rap sheet for the change in his pockets. Think he had life insurance? Probably not. Doubt she's ever had a political thought in her life.
Nobody's taking away anyone's hollow points.
But will she marry her husbands killer, he’s innocent ya know. If it werent for bad walmart and the bad gun who forced the murderer to murder her husband
Not my Black Talons...
I doubt if she thought of it on her own. She does not have the intelligence. If she had enough sense to get out of the rain, she would not allow herself to be used for propaganda purposes.
Imagine my irritation when I shot the entire box of jhp ammo with each one hitting center target and not one of them exploded. I was so hoping to see each and everyone of them explode. Not one of them did. I was so mad at Hornady and BPS that I almost exploded. Perhaps Hornady should put a warning label on the box that forewarns people like me that jhp ammo don't explode. (s/)
Whatta bout a ban on power point bullet points?
Obviously, a full metal jacketed ball ammo round would have killed him a lot less.
In fact, it was the bullet’s fault in the first place, while the gun was off minding it’s own business....
So she would have no problem if her husband had been murdered with a FMJ bullet?
The whole of human history is littered with the corpses of those who did nothing wrong. Evil/baseless hatred never rests. Maybe that's the message of the 7th [Sabbath] millennium. Only the people with hearts of love will be able to live there.
Olam haba = olam + ahav (olam ha-ahavah). Same letters.
He’s dead.
You can’t make him not dead.
You can’t make others not die.
People die, people get killed, people kill other people.
It’s happened since the dawn of mankind.
If you attempt to attack my civil rights, you make yourself into my enemy.
That is all.
You dont buy hollow-point bullets unless you meant to kill him.
Actually, my carry piece is loaded with hollow points (hst) for two reasons: one, I can carry a little gun that acts like a bigger gun, and two, if I do need to use it, I want it to be effective.
Joke-line Elders! I haven’t thought about her since I was on the radio every morning!
“We alll gonna diiiie some daaaay from sumthun.”
I once knew a lady who was anti-gun, and didn’t want them around, because a family member had been murdered using a gun. It don’t know that it ever occurred to her that her life would have been quite restricted had it been murder by knife or by car.
I only use hollow points in all of my revolvers (.38 and .357)
That sounds like the beginning of a joke.
The point of bullets is to kill people.
More effective killing of people is an excellent property of better bullets.
Wasn't it Jocelyn Elders who said we needed safer bullets?
Would she be advocating for the banning of lead pipes, were he beaten to death with one?
I doubt it. She’s got some ambulance chasing lawyer behind her on this one.
