I so enjoyed this interview (Ainsley is terrific). Eric is so proud of his dad, who he said is his best friend - how cool is that? Love that he is so admiring of his siblings and their families as well.

I can totally relate to Lara being surrounded by boys. We had four sons, no daughters ... even our dogs have been boys!

Is that China lake? I’ve never seen an aerial view. It was the oddest place, there was this ship in the middle of the Mohave desert, to be used as a target. It was a fun time while I was there though. Lots of young and energetic engineers away from home for the first time. It got a little wild, and everyone was pretty ambitious. So a lot ended up leaving to go make their fortunes elsewhere.

Watching Barron this morning he seemed to be a little like the baby giraffe Standing and looking at all in the new world around him.

Good comparison! And like the giraffe calf, Barron has very long legs!

It seems that Tiffany enjoys hanging with her little brother and being part of family activities (trip to bowling ally) Some half siblings are jealous of the younger. The older siblings are successful in their own lives but she is just starting out still a young adult. Baron because of his size is expected to act like a “young adult” instead of a kid (bet many of those egg rollers were older than he)

What a pain.

We had a Suburban for years that used to get that “check engine” light every other time the vehicle was started. The mechanics never could figure out what was going on. Fortunately we didn’t have to pass any tests.
