If anyone had told me a year ago I’d be interested in watching giraffes on the web and seeing the birth of a baby giraffe, I’d have probably told them something like, I highly doubt it. It’s almost addictive! Has been very interesting!

I remember in Bakersfield, first we were definitely invited because of all the illegals from South and Central America. But if you didn’t even count those, they were Middle Eastern people all over the place with the turbines. And women wearing several layers of clothing whatever those things are called, in 110° weather. Every minute mart was owned by one of those. It was awful. Here, Americans own and do everything! I am still amazed that Americans will do all these jobs that we were told they refused to do :-)
It definitely is. I thought I loved April, until the baby came along. Now I am totally infatuated with that little guy.
Good afternoon Jane! I had my waffle, then went out and did some shopping. Made hubby lunch (his working at home is totally different than anything I’m used to). And now I will enjoy the rain before heading out again in a little bit to go to the scripture study this evening.

Watching Barron this morning he seemed to be a little like the baby giraffe Standing and looking at all in the new world around him.
He will get more confident as the newness becomes comfortable. He does smile and laugh. (He sure loved the tractors in the inaugural parade)

No. He’s part of his father’s inner circle, and knows what the old man is facing around the world. Being just 10 years old, he hasn’t mastered the whole facial facade thing. ;o)

I have no clue what you’re even talking about! So it must be complicated if even the subject is confusing :-)
I did avionics software for years, the last language I used was C++. Have no clue if that’s even around anymore. But what you’re doing sounds much more complicated than that.

On second thought, I think it may be above their reading and comprehension level. Especially since there was no mention of Russian connections to the election/administration and no Trump-bashing.

OK, here’s what I did today – I sent a letter to the friend that Lakeside granny and I have in common near her home. I used to work with him years ago on a naval base. The naval base in the middle of the desert… But anyway,
I told him that granny had disappeared from the political site that she was on often, and that we were worried about her. I gave him my email and phone number and asked him to let me know if she was OK. I wasn’t going to be any more invasive that than that, just wanted to know if she was all right. Hopefully it’s just a computer problem or something like that. Or better yet a vacation with her kids. However, I think she would’ve mentioned it at least once on this thread if she was having plans to go somewhere.
The letter should take a couple days to get there, so maybe by Thursday I will hear something. Or maybe she’ll have returned from her visit by then… Either way let’s hope we hear from her!
