People gotta go where they gotta go. After the initial “I won’t fly them” outrage, people will still select their airline based on how they do it now.

.000000001% will change airlines.

I am sure UA is basically “clean this up as best as we can — this, too shall pass.”

I think they will be changing some procedures since this event did demonstrate some pretty big ones.

Lower fares? Highly unlikely.

Look at how poorly Target handled the bathroom mess. Hundreds of millions of market cap wiped out. We’ll see how United handles this. If it fades away quickly, they are lucky. It probably doesn’t have the impact of the bathroom policy because that’s affected every store and the majority of shoppers.
