A Canadian man says he was stung by a scorpion while travelling in business class on a United Airlines flight.
Richard Bell said the scorpion fell from the overhead bin and onto his head during lunch on a trip from Houston, Texas to Calgary in Canada.
After putting it on his plate, he was stung. United has offered compensation.
It happened on Sunday, the same day a United passenger was violently dragged from a plane after refusing to give his seat to a staff member.
Video of the incident has been watched by millions of people online.
Dr David Dao, a 69-year-old Vietnamese-American, lost two front teeth and suffered a broken nose and a "significant" concussion in the incident.

There are other web sites you could inhabit.
UAL is a despicable company, just like a few others of their competitors.
There is no room in this creation for tyranny.
.
For what reason?
.
>> “Why did he put it on his plate instead of under his heel?” <<
His heel was under another seat.
There is no leg room on UAL.

I think you’re going to be seeing some fantastic fares from UA as they try to prevent customer defections.
Scorpions should fly in Coach!
Obviously it was not properly stowed.
Because he didn't want to be accused of scorpionism. Once the progs label you with that, you're done for.
“”Why did he put it on his plate instead of under his heel? “”
Good question....he would have had to pick it up to do that and who on earth is going to pick up one of those things?

People gotta go where they gotta go. After the initial “I won’t fly them” outrage, people will still select their airline based on how they do it now.
.000000001% will change airlines.
I am sure UA is basically “clean this up as best as we can — this, too shall pass.”
I think they will be changing some procedures since this event did demonstrate some pretty big ones.
Lower fares? Highly unlikely.
Look at how poorly Target handled the bathroom mess. Hundreds of millions of market cap wiped out. We’ll see how United handles this. If it fades away quickly, they are lucky. It probably doesn’t have the impact of the bathroom policy because that’s affected every store and the majority of shoppers.
“”Wow, all of these news, I dont want to miss my chance to sue United, I think Ill buy a ticket and go somewhere.””
Hurry before the lawyers are overbooked. You might get dragged out of their offices.

Target has many, many alternatives.
UA riders have very few and in some cases no alternatives.
Not that bad customer service can’t shut down an airline but in today’s airline environment I don’t think this is going to be much more than a blip.
Hey, I’ve been here since 1998 so easy fella...
Something stinks about this story, things are not what they seem.
If you do, watch out for falling scorpions.
Wear the insult as a badge of honor.
Trust me.
...not Snakes on a Plane
It does appear that UAL, is in fact snake bit.
From his pate to his plate... ;)
Rule # 1 smash the Scorpion with a shoe or something don’t pick it up. # 2 I heard the Scorpion is now United employee of the month.
