One of President Trump’s campaign promises was to build a wall along the border of the United States and Mexico to help curb illegal immigration and cartel violence and drugs which have been plaguing our country for years.
The wall is set to kick off in the San Diego border community of Otay Mesa, U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed Monday according to the San Diego Union Tribune. Although the construction is beginning with prototypes, there are documents revealing that wall construction will start in San Diego, CA.

Yeah, word was that part of the first section to be built was, for some reason, a rebuild of a wall or fence in place.
However, word now is that the GOPe leadership in Congress is planning not to fund it for at least through 17-18.

Yes. In fact, why not have a dozen or more projects happening simultaneously. A lot of people seem to think building this wall will be like building the transcontinental railroads. It’s not. Once the prototypes have been built, and designs approved; the whole thing could be built in under a year (depending on funding, and absent the usual delay tactics in the courts, or protestors).

Correct, there is no reason it should be built from one end to the other in sequence. Get as many section projects underway as can reasonably be managed by various contractors. Ofc getting the Congress to resolve the budget issue is a challenge. But there’s not way it should have to be built mile by mile in sequence. Work on 10 parts of it at once.
Oh and before anyone gets all high and mighty the customer took me and paid for it. I was speechless. Taiwan culture I guess. I guess it is a negotiating strategy for them. He will start the wall
He will get a health care bill in the House
He already got a SC judge
He will get a lower Fed ruling on his ban that, when appealed will end up in the SC
He will get at least 2 out of 3(maybe all 3) special House elections
He has already blown up the MSM narrative on is foreign policy
I believe he will get some kind of breakthrough on North Korea this month after seeing China get involved like they never have before.
