A New York Democrat in Congress has filed a bill that would forbid immigration officers from wearing clothing that says “POLICE.” Officials with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) urge that it “may be a matter of life-or-death” for them to do so.

ICE agents and officers may initially identify themselves as “police” in an encounter because it is the universally known term for law enforcement, they say.

Under what authority would a state have to regulate what is displayed on a Federal law enforcement’s uniform?
Yeah, none, I did not think so.
Of course for Democrats symbolism is everything. Reality need not apply.
It gets worse. Dems not only want that but they also want on the uniform how much the ice costs per bag.
Police is the proper title do take away any inference that they are a military force.
Perhaps ‘twould be better for persons to avoid “democrat” on their shirts to avoid receiving their just rewards.

Just think how lucky New Yorkers might be.....they may get hillary the next time around. Read that she is thinking of running for Mayor of New York. I am afraid that my original assessment was correct, we the American people will never get rid of the clinton’s or the obama’s.
They simply do not have control over what a Federal vest says. They can bluster and pontificate but it won’t change the reality.
How about a bill where Democrat Congressmen have to wear a vest with “TIMEWASTERS” on it in large letters?

Not that it will pass this administration but doesn’t this look like a message to federal employees that the Democrats are displeased with them for following Trump.
Example # 1,000,001 of the Democrats hating the police.
So instead of using the word “POLICE”Just change it to “I.C.E AGENT” or just Federal Agent.
No problems I see there except the cost to get uniforms relabeled.
What we really need is a required uniform for DemoRat legislators.
Maybe for some RINOs, too.

Good point. They can probably require their people to change from “police” to “sanctuary officer”. And tell everyone to run when they see “police”. Everyone who they’ve been telling to run from “police”(”normal criminals” and witnesses) would need to learn to run from “sanctuary officers”.
While they’re at it they can require “sanctuary officers” to help fill out public benefits applications and register people to vote.
Why post about any Den bills which are DOA anyway?
