President Trump has ordered his military advisers to be ready with a list of options to smash North Korea’s nuclear threat.
One of the advisers, Lieutenant General H. R. McMaster, confirmed his Commander-in-Chief has made the order as a U.S. carrier strike group heads for the region.
It is believed that among the options are combined special forces raids and pre-emptive missile strikes.
One of the problems facing an American-led operation to hit Pyongyang’s leader Kim Jong-Un is the intricate tunnel network under the capital.
War-planners have had difficulty mapping out the subterranean complex and believe there are hundreds of underground artillery and airplane sites.
McMaster described the decision to redeploy the USS Carl Vinson to the Sea of Japan as ‘prudent’ given North Korea’s ‘pattern of provocative behavior.’

I pray we are not looking at bombing NOK. I can’t see that ending well. Shoot down their missiles. More sanctions. Send home all their diplomats and citizens in every country we can persuade to join us. Do not go to military action on the Korea peninsula. You have one of the largest cities in the world within artillary range of thousands of guns that are concealed in heavy bunkers.
I can’t see S Korea going along with it. If China invades them from the north it could then be possible to do something. Short of that we should not initiate military action. I spent a lot of time in Korea doing business from 1971 to 2005. I just cannot see starting s war with them.
Yes, that does happen, but I don’t think McMasters would’ve told this to a British paper first...

This is another contingency plan worked up at the Pentagon. The Pentagon always works on contingency plan.
I heard a new report a while back about how North Korea has many chemical weapons stored in the mountains within shooting range of Seoul South Korea. Hope they have considered that in their war planning.

Porobably more likely that China will use the North Korean diversion to go fishing for a bigger fish.

We lived just outside the north perimeter of Eglin AFB, about 10 miles away from where prototype new bunker buster bombs were tested around 2012.
From what we felt when they detonate, you don’t want to be anywhere near when one of those behemoths go off.
I’m pretty confident the U.S. Navy would love to have this guy to take his boats out into the Pacific in a threatening posture. It will be great practice for our guys.
I don’t think there is any doubt about who would win.

It would be surprising to me if there isn't an office full of people whose only job has been to come up with these plans for years.
Believe it or not, the Pentagon has plans to attack the Norks sitting on the shelf.
Just like they have plans to invade Canada.
