US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said in an interview airing Sunday on CNN that until Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is out of power, she doesn't see a political solution to the conflict in Syria.
"There's not any sort of option where a political solution is going to happen with Assad at the head of the regime," Haley told "State of the Union" anchor Jake Tapper. "It just -- if you look at his actions, if you look at the situation, it's going to be hard to see a government that's peaceful and stable with Assad."

Pinochet is as close to a success story as I can think of and that wasn’t without its warts.

President Trump: we don’t give a crap about Syria other than the utilization of Assad’s military to help wipe out ISIS and to keep the lid on the various savages that would run wild for generations if Assad is somehow removed from power.
You promised mutiple times when running for President that you would NOT engage in “nation building” or “regime change”.

Now if we are going to take out ISIS, thats one thing, but inserting ourselves into a civil war to overthrow Assad could have dangerous consequences. There are 4 separate factions in there fighting...I don't believe it would be wise to go in there a pick a fight with all of them...
I really hope our side is not going to ally with McCain's and Obama's Al Qaeda Rebel terrorists...

It isn’t possible to take out ISIS because ISIS is Islam. There is no radical Islam; there is just Islam. It’s incompatible with a free society.
There are only 2 solutions, neither of which will be used:
1. Kill all Muslims. (barbaric, and not possible)
2. Ban Islam in civilized countries, deport Muslims to Muslim countries, bring US troops home and put them on our borders, and institute a “pet the pig” requirement to enter a non-Muslim country or board a plane.
Sending US troops to Muslim countries to fight guarantees more American deaths, more Muslim invaders known as refugees coming into our country, and more Muslim radicals rising up to join the fight. It’s a no-win situation.

Hit the road chemical boy.
Assad should be given minute amounts of chemical agents to prolong the suffering as much as possible before the capillaries in HIS lungs pop like bubbles in sparkling champagne.

This means the false flag op is already here and planned with fake Syrian papers and ready to go at a moment's notice.
It will happen, Americans will be outraged, but I don't think too many of us will buy that it is "Syria". Maybe 50%. But don't worry, that's enough, because the 50% who doesn't buy it is deplorable.

Peace MAKING mission.
FIRST you MAKE peace: either annihilate the enemy, or create a circumstance they understand to be insurmountable; a sort of Hiroshima moment, if you will.
AFTER you make peace, then you keep it.
Frankly, I’m not opposed to us MAKING peace, but once made we need to FORCE whatever is there, still living, and ambulatory to step up and keep it themselves. Tell ‘em if they screw up and let it get outta hand, we’ll come back and MAKE peace some more. Lather. Rinse. Repeat until a group emerges from the devastation that demonstrates a willingness to take charge, and keep it chill going forward.

This is moronic.
Muslim savages need a strongman to control them.
The world would be better if we had left Saddam Hussein and Quaddafi in power.

I dont think Assad is going anywhere. Russia isnt; they like the ports just fine and Syria is Russias oldest ally in the ME. Signaling Assad hes going to be removed doesnt exactly motivate him to fight anyone but his enemies in a buffer zone around Damascus. He only has control of about 1/10th of his country and too few soldiers left to maintain control over the rest. Ive read of a few plans to break Syria into 5 or 6 zones, with ME players (all those visitors to the WH) establishing safe zones and administrative zones within the same. That was what the big pow-wow in Brussels last week was about. I think a better signal to Assad would be, heres what is going to happen, you keep Damascus and Port Tardus for your Russian friends and when your miserable little civil war is over, if youre a good little despot and keep your paws out of the zones, well talk again. This makes the most sense, especially if we are to put boots on the ground only to protect the safe zones. Russia still gets what they want and this move would further neuter Assad, not replace him.
