US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said in an interview airing Sunday on CNN that until Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is out of power, she doesn't see a political solution to the conflict in Syria.
"There's not any sort of option where a political solution is going to happen with Assad at the head of the regime," Haley told "State of the Union" anchor Jake Tapper. "It just -- if you look at his actions, if you look at the situation, it's going to be hard to see a government that's peaceful and stable with Assad."

We’ve seen this movie before, haven’t we?
I think 911 came before we took out Hussein,
Nevertheless, it’s an unwinnable situation because there are no good regimes possible. Now if Assad was a dictator who had things in control like Sadaam did or Mubarak, or even that sicko Kaddafi, it would be assinine to start another so called Arab Spring. Right now, Syria is just a breeding ground for ISIS and other so called revolutionary groups because they and the people really have nothing to lose. Situation is horrible not just for the Syrians who we say we don’t care about, but for us...instability not good. What I don’t hear is who or what would come in if he left. If it was gonna be years of anarchy it’s a waste of money and blood.
Hard to believe but I always thought the one good thing Barry did was ignore his own “red line” and ignore McCain.
I like that old time rock n roll with “Bill Haley and the Comets” but this “Nikki Haley and the Vomits” can go somewhere else.
She must think Assad uses the Confederate battle flag, right.........
9/11 happened September 11, 2001. Bush went into Iraq March, 2003.
Why does any of that make it the business of American troops and American taxpayers to overthrow Assad?
We have a winner!
I stand corrected. The first Bush tied Hussein’s hands.
Mike Cernovich (who broke Susan Rice and the Syria strikes) has said that sources are telling him there will be boots on the ground in Syria.
A brief excerpt from Peter Hitchens “Mail on Sunday” column.
“.....the Jabhat Fateh-al-Sham, alias the Al Nusra Front, alias Al Qaeda, the Syrian ‘opposition’ which we in the West have been supporting for several years.
Yes, that’s right, the people we have been helping are not Liberal Democrats or Girl Guides or Quakers.
No, they are the same movement which destroyed Manhattan’s Twin Towers.....”

Gotta keep those Saudi bribes coming in.
Don’t we already have boots on the ground????
Can some historian tell me when a US backed regime change has ever worked out with the next head of State. I am not counting Hitler...or Wars...or Conflicts..yeah Vietnam didn’t work.
I mean the CIA type coups.
There has to be one that worked out where the next leader was better.
I still to this day can’t fathom why Castro was allowed to be leader after all the people we have taken out...except if CIA really wanted him as leader.
Oh and I am not one that believes Track II ended in Chile just because Nixon said it did. Kind of like I don’t believe Operation Mockingbird ended. Just the name.
I remember that guy. I voted for him once. Then he went away.
If he makes an appearance again, I’d vote for him twice.
Agree.
“The people pushing this arent Christian...”
No they aren’t. Nor do they care if Christians are subjected to genocide.
This worked so well in Libya and Iraq, you just gotta support her. Besides, Hillary said it too.
according to their local bishop, they’ve already lost 2/3 of their population! pray for the rest.

Why should we give a crap whos in charge of that sh!thole? /rhetoric question
Syria is just the proxy. The real goal is rolling back Death to America Iran and their eventual ICBM program.
Yes - it’s our nation-building fervor. When will we learn? If even this, non-establishment POTUS falls for this, we’re doomed!
