Let’s hope no more conservative judges decide to take solitary weekend retreats at liberal-owned getaways for a while....

Ginsberg will hold on for a while longer, I expect. But Kennedy is winding down.

The sad part is that the liberal Kushners seem now to be running policy at the WH, and you know Ivanka is going to be all over getting a liberal justice in to swing the court to the left.

This should be the fifth conservative judge to get us beyond the swing court we’ve had for years, but my bet would be against that at this point.

Nobody mentions Breyer.

He'll be 79 this summer.

It's not out of bounds to think that Trump could wind up placing 4 justices in his first term.

I think Ginsberg wanted to step down last year but wanted to give Hillary the power to choose her successor. Now she’s stuck trying to live at least another four years, and maybe 8. I don’t know if she has it in her.

I say this because of the utterly radical stuff she was saying last year. It was as if, in her mind, she wanted to go out with a bang, except now she can’t.

Yes, I guessing Kennedy in June and Ginsberg by year-end.

I can imagine an orchestrated simultaneous retirement, so the Dems can “insist” on selecting at least one liberal.

Take no prisoners!

We need only solid conservatives, still from that list of 21.

I have heard leftists discussing changing the composition of the court from 9 justices to 11 or 13 if they manage to get back into power. FDR tried that once and failed. still, the nuclear option makes such a move especially dangerous to our views. We have to be very careful. they can never get back into a position like they were back in 2008 again because there will be no limits to the BS they’ll pull.

Ginsberg isn’t going anywhere if she can help it. They’ll still think she’s napping behind her desk two weeks after she’s gone.

Kennedy shifts the balance only on social issues. Ginzberg shifts it across the spectrum.

Kennedy would still be considered a 55% conservative seat.

Ginzberg is a 100% liberal seat.

But she’s not retiring. My sense is that she thinks that this is the only fun stuff she does so she’ll die in the seat. Otherwise, she would have retired under Obama.

In the back of my mind, it’s possible she admitted to herself that Obama is anti-semitic, and she wanted to block him from shaping the court.

Something explains her not retiring under Barack.

Kennedy has been the reliable swing vote---for the Dems. Replacing him with a reliable conservative judge would go a long way towards shifting the court right.

If Trump gets a second term, he will be appointing at least three more judges.

He should offer constitutionalists. Obama and Reid flooded the lower courts with over 360 liberal judges and the balance of power needs to be maintained.

Buzzi Ginsberg can’t stay awake long enough to hear oral argumnents, her intern s write her judgements. She is not for this world much longer.

I bet she will be the next vacancy.
