The launch of Tomahawk missiles by President Trump has displaced the gravitational center of twitter purists, litmus nuts, conspiracy loons and the even creepier goons that orbit the remnants of the Ted Cruz #NeverTrump camp.
Their latest anti-Trumpism du jour targets Jared Kushner, President Trumps son-in-law and spouse of Ivanka Trump. Every loon campaign needs a hashtag, and their chosen identifying moonbattery is scribed under #FireKushner.
The concern, as it is openly expressed by those pushing the hashtag, is that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner will sneak into President Trumps bedroom and place a pod under his bed which will envelop the elder Trump overnight, replicate him, and simultaneously turn him into a left-wing liberal globalist. Yes, that appears to be the general concern.
Like all similar ideological moonbattery that has come before (primary race 2015/16), there is an echo-chamber of more than tinged antisemitism, combined with a dash of Cruzian litmus testing of all activity. In essence, this is yet another outcropping of the continuing evolution of #NeverTrump. Its silly, but, alas people take this stuff seriously.
Somehow these anti-Jared people have convinced themselves that Jared Kushner wasnt part of President Trumps life prior to June 2015, when candidate Trump planned his strategy, coordinated with Jared, and then announced his run for the White House.
When reminded that Trumps policies and perspectives existed in his campaign speeches long before Bannon surfaced they begin shrieking, and typing, in some odd high-pitched tones calling forth their zombie-minded cohorts. Its the weirdest thing since Ted Cruzs Muh Principles pre-convention speech.
The stupid is very strong with this effort.

And his better half, Ivanka, was busy tweeting about the horrible and persistent “gender gap” in pay, and vowing to get rid of it.
Can someone with half a brain please set her straight on this SJW fiction?
Right — I understand.
You seem to have missed the fact that Ted Cruz was not accused of being a part of this in the article.
Sometimes this guy Sundance just babbles. This is one of those times.
Seems to me that he proved himself with development of a digital marketing system to help DJT win.
The principal was to use social media and establish which adds were working and where money did the most good.
In theory, this data led to the Trump victory and the famously lean campaign expenditure.
So proving himself needed to be not to conservatives, but to Trump.
She'd fit perfectly in Congress as a female Representative from New York, for sure.
“Kushner needs to prove himself to conservatives.”
He’s been advising Trump through all his victories in the primaries, general election, etc.. That’s all the proof you need. Bannon came in very late in the game.
Some say that Kushner is a liberal but that is far from clear. His family has been aligned with the right wing Likud party in Israel for decades.
The Cruzbots say that Kushner’s donations to New York democrats is proof that he is a liberal, but they said the same thing about Trump.
Jesus Christ. The devil works in wondrous ways, doesn’t he.
Ahh...reading comprehension can be your friend. Read the article again ... slowly. Maybe use search for the letters “C R U Z”.
Kushner’s father — in addition to being a convicted felon — has been a major Democrat fundraiser in New Jersey for years. Jared and Ivanka raised a lot of money — including thousands of dollars in bundled contributions — for Senator Cory Booker’s last campaign.
OK, I read it again. Not one single mention of Ted Cruz actually being any part of the theory the author is proposing. Prove me wrong and post the part that does.
Precisely
This hysteria over Jared and Ivanka makes no sense to me
DJT has espoused the same views since the 80s. The fact that he gets information from many sources and view points is a good thing.
From the way some people re acting one would conclude that Trump was an imbecile being led around by a Svengali
Here’s the thing - I know things got very nasty between Trump and Cruz during the campaign, and Cruz failed to carry out his responsibility to unequivocally endorse his party’s nominee in what had to be his worst moment as a national politician. I get all that. But I also know that Cruz is a real, unapologetic and committed conservative and I know he can be counted on to oppose leftist nonsense wherever it sprouts up. If we’re down to taking sides between Cruz and some so-called pragmatist like Kushner, I know who I’m backing.
That actually might weigh against Kushner in this case. Historically, you’ll probably find that political campaign advisors rarely stay around as administration officials after their work is done. I was surprised to learn that James Carville, for example, basically disappeared from the Clinton team after he played such a key role in 1992.
Yet your profile page flies a Zambia flag. When did you live in NYC?
I know folks who are conservatives even though the rest of their family are liberals

That dude has no business standing amongst men. He looks like a p*#**y. What has gone wrong with Trump? I am starting to feel a sinking disappointment with him. It doesn’t matter which Muslim is in charge they will not hesitate to murder their children when it suits their agenda.
Pedophilia and child marriage are common in their society. The only thing that will ever save these children and give them any hope for a happy life is the destruction of an religion that takes away all hope. Otherwise, all of our good intentions are already defeated.
Lush er doesn’t have to do anything.
DJT is the guy I voted for. He wants him as an adviser.
Go pound sand
What an incisive point. Not one advisor to any president has ever was elected by the American people. We're all indebted to your insight.
I've been around NYC long enough to know that most of the time Jared and Ivanka were in the news before 2016, it was on Page Six of the New York Post. If you're familiar with what that means you'll understand why I'm not all that impressed with them.
