The launch of Tomahawk missiles by President Trump has displaced the gravitational center of twitter purists, litmus nuts, conspiracy loons and the even creepier goons that orbit the remnants of the Ted Cruz #NeverTrump camp.
Their latest anti-Trumpism du jour targets Jared Kushner, President Trumps son-in-law and spouse of Ivanka Trump. Every loon campaign needs a hashtag, and their chosen identifying moonbattery is scribed under #FireKushner.
The concern, as it is openly expressed by those pushing the hashtag, is that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner will sneak into President Trumps bedroom and place a pod under his bed which will envelop the elder Trump overnight, replicate him, and simultaneously turn him into a left-wing liberal globalist. Yes, that appears to be the general concern.
Like all similar ideological moonbattery that has come before (primary race 2015/16), there is an echo-chamber of more than tinged antisemitism, combined with a dash of Cruzian litmus testing of all activity. In essence, this is yet another outcropping of the continuing evolution of #NeverTrump. Its silly, but, alas people take this stuff seriously.
Somehow these anti-Jared people have convinced themselves that Jared Kushner wasnt part of President Trumps life prior to June 2015, when candidate Trump planned his strategy, coordinated with Jared, and then announced his run for the White House.
When reminded that Trumps policies and perspectives existed in his campaign speeches long before Bannon surfaced they begin shrieking, and typing, in some odd high-pitched tones calling forth their zombie-minded cohorts. Its the weirdest thing since Ted Cruzs Muh Principles pre-convention speech.
The stupid is very strong with this effort.

Well at least you put up unbiased threads :)
you’re like the CNN of FR :)
Nice try...but Ted Cruz is not a NeverTrumper but is a Trump agenda ally in the Senate.
Some of us have seen Jared Kushner's role in the Trump administration as a huge red flag ... not because we're loons or NeverTrumpers, but because we've been around New York City long enough to know these people better than your average American does.
I don't trust anyone from the Kushner family -- and I've been saying that for years.
You were literally one of the more hysterical posters on the forum going back to the start of the primary fight. I'm surprised you weren't zotted.
Ivanka’s new Summer line??
Kushner needs to prove himself to conservatives.
He needs to be examined and grilled.
Compared to Don Jr. who has proved himself, Kushner has been hiding behind Ivanka’s skirt.
Right. But you illustrate the point well. You’ve been a Cruzbot since the primaries and now you are also a militant anti-Trump zealot, contrary to Ted Cruz who at least appears to have capitulated.
Folks are simply giving in to a new form of hysteria. Media has fabricated the Kushner vs. Bannon fight. The Bannon threats to “quit,” the “Kushner is a cuck” stuff, the claim that Bannon was removed from the NSC, even though he’s still on the NSC (he removed himself from a subgroup whose meetings he wasn’t even attending anyway), all part of a media campaign to create a false division.
In point of fact, the media has been pushing these stories for a few months now, even though they were immediately contradicted by Trump’s actual statements and actions thereafter. No one remembers because people are short sighted and stupid in general.
Same thing with the Syria handwringing. It was one airfield in a third world dump. Honestly, who cares if Trump had bombed the whole place apart? But the fact of the matter is he didn’t. By striking one little airfield, Trump destroys the Russian puppet narrative, with Russia shouting and making threats but ultimately doing nothing—just as planned. Meanwhile, Rex barking about removing Assad, but then saying that that would have to happen “after ISIS is destroyed and the country stabilized.” What does that mean? What do you think it means?
Think, children, think!
People are stupid and are focusing on short term thinking and hysteria. You must expand and see things from a big picture and long term perspective.
If Jared Kushner was half as smart as people seem to think he is, he’d be back in New York running his family business. The fact that he can just pack up, move to Washington, and leave all of that behind is very telling.
Oh, it’s YOU again.
Blaming Cruz for the acts of Ron Paul alt rightists’?
I have said almost nothing about the “Kushner vs. Bannon fight” here on FreeRepublic. I generally don’t comment very much on those kinds of stories that are presented by the media with no evidence to support them. I really don’t care whether Kushner and Bannon get along. I’ve had serious concerns about Kushner ever since his name was put out there as a potential “senior advisor” (at the ripe old age of 36) to President-Elect Trump back in November-December 2016.
Jared and Ivanka are in their mid-thirties. Too young to have any experiential basis upon which to base their advisement of DJT on world affairs and the preservation of a constitutionally-based republic. They are babes in the woods. They were registered New York Democrats at the time of the 2016 primaries and as such never even supported DJT’s nomination. They were NOT elected by the American people to any elective office. And the White House needs to be the hell off limits to them. They are screaming liberal fascists. They should NOT be advising DJT on anything, other than the color of the drapery in the oval office.
Which confirms what I said (it shows the past history), thus supporting my implied point that you're the worst person on the forum to be talking about this.
Consider my reply more of a general retort then to the general hysteria on the forum at the moment.
If you really want an eye-opener, just look at the startling similarities between the Ivanka Trump/Jared Kushner relationship and the Chelsea Clinton/Marc Mezvinsky relationship. The parallels are disturbing — which probably explains why Ivanka and Chelsea have allegedly been good friends for quite some time.
