Deja vu all over again circa 2006. Hope I'm wrong. We can't pay for another war, build the military, reduce the tax rate, spend trillions on infrastructure and build a multibillion-dollar wall.

So Assad goes, and he gets replaced with some Sunni gangster/Jihadi, weaned by the Saudis
At least that person will allow pipelines, trade their oil in US Dollars, and kick the Russians out, hopefully embarrassing Putin so badly he loses power in Russia, and then George Soros can take over

My understanding of some of the motivations surrounding ousting Assad by the Qararis, Saudis, Turks was to build a natural gas pipeline. I may not have this exactly correct but wondering if there is a plan to pacify the Turks so we can keep our base there.
Who knows?
