Dr. Ben Carson has discovered over $500 billion (that's with a 'B') in errors and accounting mistakes during his audit of the Obama administration’s Housing and Urban Development budget.
One of Dr. Carson’s first orders after being confirmed as the Secretary of HUD was a thorough audit of the agency, which has been accused of fraud and over-budgeted projects throughout the entire Obama administration.
What did the auditors find? Over $520 billion in budgetary mistakes and clerical errors.

The FBI is too busy hunting for Russians to please the Demonrats to be bothered by real crimes committed by Demonrats.
Billions of dollars leak from the federal treasury to social activists, academics, consultants, non-profits, and advocacy groups allied with the Democrat party and dedicated to driving the progressive agenda. A large share of this money gets channelled into Democrat political campaigns, legal action in support of social change, and advertising to support liberal causes.
If Trump and the GOP Congress do nothing else they need to terminate the flow of federal funds to organizations and individuals furthering leftist political agendas. Four years of starving the beast will as much to reverse the advance toward socialism as regulatory reform, tax reform, and the end of Obamacare. Plus the budget savings can be applied to reduce the deficit or pay for real infrastructure improvements.
I believe I read recently $76 billion per year is going from the taxpayer to Ivy League colleges with multibillion dollar endowments. Cut these subsidies of liberal professors today! It has to be just the tip of the iceberg.

If this sort of thing were done in every agency, department or program—and the money were recovered, we could all probably get a decade tax holiday.

If they dig deep enough they will likely find much of the 10 Trillion that Obama squandered away. The rest they will find in the Clinton Foundation offshore accounts.
Dr. Carson is doing something every Trump cabinet appointee should undertake. If there’s half a trillion that’s missing from HUD, I can only imagine how much disappeared from HHS.
As for the Pentagon, we already know the amount of funds and equipment that can’t be accounted for is measured in the trillions. Good luck, Jim Mattis.
I’d offer the usual snarky observation of “your tax dollars at work,” but it sounds like they went straight from the treasury to God-knows-where.

Anyone who believes our government could audit HUD in one month just doesn't understand.
Dr. Carson may have requested an audit but I assure you this isn't it. This is the routine annual audit mandated by law.
Since we are going there we might as well throw in ILLEGALS as well. I can GUARANTEE that's a few BILLION!
