Good point. The move seems curious, but I distinctly remember posting right here on FreeRepublic that it seemed odd for a guy to be on the NSC when his resume was dominated by political and media credentials.

You are correct and it makes one wonder what is happening with Drudge when he has such a headline and only a headline that links to the Bloomberg report that does not mention a word about Bannon and his security clearance.

Unless Drudge has backroom information in addition to the Bloomberg report, Drudge needs to clarify or retract.

Yeah, losing your Security Clearance is a real big deal. I wonder how long he had it. He’d need at least a TS, and that means background investigation. So when was the BI done?

This doesn’t look good, but I want more info. For example, just because he’s not on NSA doesn’t mean he doesn’t have SELECTIVE classified access. It would just mean he’s not in on the meetings and can’t access ALL classified info.

But neither Jared or Ivanka are anywhere close to that access.
