We dodged a HUGE bullet but I doubt Biden would beat a President TRUMP when the voters see all the good things he will get done!
I had hope for him when he was campaigning, not so much since then. Real disappointment but we should be used to it by now.

There is an overlooked problem with forecasting history based on subsequent events. The actions of the players change.
First. He makes the assumption that Biden beats Sanders. I don’t think all Hillary votes transfer their votes to Biden. Biden ran before and received no traction.
Second, he makes the assumption that Trump would have ran the same campaign against Biden (or Sanders) he did against Hillary. I don’t think so.

I’d guess that depends a lot on how many of Neil Kinnock’s old speeches could actually be applied to American political questions.
Candidates who don’t run always look like perfect candidates. Hillary was loved when she first accepted SOS. Also, Biden got hammered by Palin in 2008. I admit he in turn hammered Paul Ryan in 2012 (in a mini Trump performance). Trump would have found something to hammer him on and he suddenly wouldn’t be perfect. He’ll be fought from the left in the primaries for 2020 and he won’t be perfect. These what if stories are ALWAYS foolish. Who predicted Obama beating Hillary? Who predicted Trump being President?
