President Trump brought Republican Sen. Rand Paul to Trump National Golf Club in Virginia on Sunday to play golf with him, a little more than a week after the party's healthcare bill failed.

"They're discussing a variety of topics, including healthcare," White House deputy press secretary Stephanie Grisham said.

Budget director Mick Mulvaney, a former leading House conservative, also joined the two.

I cam go out on any day and hit 12 greens and shoot 85. That’s a lot of three putts if you know what I’m saying.

“Indeed. Should have happened weeks ago.

Rand Paul: “Repeal in the morning, replace with free-market plan in the afternoon.” [With the major insurers already on board.]
“Oh, by the way, Mr. President, the promise of, ‘Read my lips, you will get what you want in Phase 2 and Phase 3.’ - is not a sound tactic”.

When Republican listeners heard the many Repeal and Replace campaign promises from Trump and various R’s, the overwhelming majority, if not all of the listeners did not think in terms of replacement with another government program. “

Bump.

Very good.

I thought Trump took Paul Ryan golfing.

My comment isn’t toward Rand Paul.

It’s so hard keeping up with all these guys who first names for last names ....

We will repeal and replace but not by playing by previous congressional standard manipulations, rules or procedures !

Why not repeal and no replace? Oh, I forgot. Trump promised that he would cover everyone with better plans for less cost and more choices. No pressure on meeting that, is there?

Obama went golfing with sycophants.

Obama played golf to avoid work. He was probably the laziest president in our history.

You're right about Trump. He utilizes the golf course as just another office/venue to conduct the business of president.

He utilized golf as being able to talk without being spied on.

QUESTION:

Does anybody know what they are doing with / about / for / against healthcare?

Anybody?

Meanwhile, we are out here paying more for health care and getting less than we do for houses, all other insurance combined and taxes.

Meanwhile insurers are planning to pull out of single insurer markets, raise deductibles by double and raise rates by 75%.

Yes but his plan is so much closer to being economically viable and it doesn’t include an individual mandate.

Yes, he passed out the book and he also had a meeting with Rand before the whole health care mess started. Now if all parties can be reasonable, a deal can be made.
