President Trump brought Republican Sen. Rand Paul to Trump National Golf Club in Virginia on Sunday to play golf with him, a little more than a week after the party's healthcare bill failed.
"They're discussing a variety of topics, including healthcare," White House deputy press secretary Stephanie Grisham said.
Budget director Mick Mulvaney, a former leading House conservative, also joined the two.

Damn.... Trump is a much bigger man than rand paul
But Trump has been stuck on a faux-repeal horrible bill from the House and trashing the conservatives there.
If someone doesn’t get through to him he’s going to be in trouble.
I agree. I consider Rand Paul to be mostly a conservative.

Trump has moved on. This an ongoing negotiation process. Conservatives don’t control trump anymore than Ryan did. Ryan just got blown out. If we are to get anywhere, Ryan needed to be neutralized. Trump gave him enough rope to hang himself. as another Freepers put it: Ryan took the poison hoping that Trump would die.

Certainly uneasy about Trump partnering with Lyin’ Ryan’s “ObozoCareLite” bill that did NOT repeal and did NOT replace.
Add Trump’s attacks on the HFC who saved America from more Obozocare....and probably saved Trump politically.
I hope Rand Paul can communicate the Truth to Trump and get him back on track - i.e. 1) Repeal and 2) Replace in separate bills.
Trump can begin with supporting Mo Brooks’ 1-page Repeal bill.

Trump at least can play golf. Obama was a duffer. Trump uses go,f the way business execs use golf to get to know the other person, build a relationship, and get deals done.
