Bad move by Trump. Ryan and the globalist big government GOPe RINOs are the problem not the Freedom Caucus. Trump is supposed to be draining the swamp by now, not swimming in it.
Put the interest of American citizens first! Freedom not socialism and tyranny!!
Good grief! Dump Obamacare already! Should have been done on day one and wed be way on down the road to draining the swamp by now!
We the people have been demanding a full repeal for seven long years and that's the position Trump took with his original health care goal at the beginning of the campaign. What he's doing now is madness and it's quickly destroying any chance of party unity and therefore destroying his chances of accomplishing the rest of hs agenda.
Someone screwed the pooch, BIGLY!
And someone needs to get it back on track, pronto!
This is NOT the decisive action of George S. Patton. Its the confused inaction of George B. Little Mac McClellan!
Where is our U.S. Grant?
Get it together guys or we lose the war.
Same thought here.
We need more conservative congressmen.
We do not need to punish the few we have.
That link didnt work, but his original position called for a full repeal and replace with free market solutions, ie, removing restrictions on free markets.

And Trump is pi$$ed the FC is holding him to that!
I’ll just bet Trump’s changing positions have something to do with Ivanka and Jerod being his “advisors.” I was uncomfortable with this early on, but dismissed my concerns, now I’m growing ever more suspicious of these two.
Exactly right.
More Dave Brats, fewer Paul Ryans.
Now we are supposed to believe from included hearsay on hearsay that the Freedom Caucus "moved the goalposts" whatever that might mean. It is is a political negotiation, there are offers and counter offers, there are demands and counter demands there are negotiating positions and new negotiating positions. Moving the goalposts indeed!
Let us assume that they did not move the goalposts, that they did not negotiate in "good faith" as you assert on the basis of included hearsay, that does not change the quality of the health care bill and it certainly does not change the quality of the health care bill "bigly."
The legislation was either good or bad, quite apart from the negotiating positions of all the various parties involved. If the bill was bad as hearsay evidence led you to believe, it was the principled duty of every member of the House as well as of the President of the United States to oppose it.
Evidently, only the Freedom Caucus and a few other patriots did.
President Trump better think twice about having another rally if he keeps up these attacks on the Freedom Caucus; he’s going to be in for a rude awakening!
Thanks.
No more dynasties. The Bush one was more than enough.
The Globals that rule us will NEVER allow it. They are so pissed at themselves for “allowing” DJT to “slip” through, despite all their vote rigging, media brainwashing, etc. You can rest assured they are making damn sure they are picking both Dem and Rep candidates to ensure they win no matter which party wins.
But the electorate is on to them and fed up “to the back teeth”, as they say in the U.K., and are not having it anymore.
Tensions are at an all time high. Emotions are hot. The Left have begun to stockpile guns, which, if it weren’t so dangerous, would be funny as heck. They are dead serious about booting DJT out and regaining the WH, Congress, and total control.
Ensuing escalated, armed conflict should come as no surprise.
BTTT
You are dead on...I’ve heard that goofy charge before!!!
Most of us supported Trump for a host of reasons. I just kept reminding myself that he is not a Conservative. He will do many good things, but do not expect him to be the ideal.

It would appear the House Freedom Caucus cast votes for Ryan which were not needed, as Ryan won by 60 votes over Pelosi, who had the second highest number.
Right now FreeRepublic looks a lot like what I imagine Congress looks like. We have one very vocal faction taunting, "Nyah nyah, told ya so! Trump was never going to do any of the things he promised. I was right, I win!"
We have another vocal faction saying, "Trump won't break any of his promises. He doesn't make mistakes (3-D chess). If he says the HFC is the devil, then so it is! If Trump wills it, then kill the HFC!"
Then I think we have a whole bunch of us, perhaps less vocal, watching with a great sense of anxiety and various degrees of foreboding.
I read this article from WaPo, posted on Mercury News, and it gave me a sense of what might be behind all of this internecine warfare happening at the top levels of this Administration. http://www.mercurynews.com/2017/03/19/inside-trumps-white-house-new-york-moderates-spark-infighting-and-suspicion/. It makes more sense than anything else I've read to explain what we're seeing.
I support your post on this thread, and I think we're in trouble.
Kevin McCarthy removed himself with some stupid remark he made.....not saying he would have been any better. Truth is we need to elect more conservatives.
“Does Dave Brat want a full repeal? How about Mo Brooks?”
and Dave Brat is not trashing Trump like Trump is trashing the FC. The FC is trying to save the republic (and concomitantly save Trump from a one-term Presidency)
No, not nefarious at all. They had 8 years to help develop this.
watching with a great sense of anxiety and various degrees of foreboding.
And, wasn’t Kevin McCarthy caught up with that Doc rep, Ellmers?
