Attorneys for one of the two suspects accused of raping a 14-year-old girl in a bathroom stall at Rockville High School said the girl texted their client the day before the incident and agreed to have sex with him, according to court papers filed Monday.
Guess we would have to cut them in half and count the rings.
Yes, I can see why you would be incredulous about such a situation. But girls today are not what they were when we were young. It’s very sad.
If you are old like this woman, you remember what “unmentionables” are. I can remember wanting to die of shame one day around 1962 because I accidentally showed part of my upper unmentionable. Now doing so is part of the costume with quite a few of them.

a girl doesn’t scream loud enough for students outside of an unused corridor to hear her if she is consenting to sex...or at least what is happening/being done to her...

A 14 year old does not have the personal authority to consent to consensual sex. 14 will get you 25.

Also, there can be mitigating circumstances. I’ve known guys that were completly clueless about sex by 18 and girls that were dangerous at 13.
If she was texting suggestive pictures of herself to boys in the throes of puberty, if I were the judge, I’d find them not guilty and consider her the “older” person, even if not chronologically. Now, if they were not public school students, I retract that remark.
I attended public school. Girls can be dangerous. Seriously. The reason there are more men in prison than women is that men and women tend to act badly in different ways. When men act badly, they do things that land them in prison. When women act badly, they ruin people’s lives. The latter usually does not involve incarceration.

I’ve played in a few bar bands in the past, which exposed me to some rather troubling aspects of the human condition. The phrase “Pulling a train” in the men’s room comes to mind.
The bottom line is that, depending on this girl’s upbringing and that of the boys involved, this does not strain credibility at all.
It’s also possible that they are telling the truth. Time and evidence will clear this up nicely. I don’t know which side to believe, based on what I’ve seen in the press. But we’ve seen cases like this where the boys were the wicked ones, and where the girl is the wicked one, setting them up.
And everything in between.
i.e. I have no opinion on this until a verdict is reached.
1) Rape in the First Degree, due to the violence.
2) Sexual Offense in the First Degree, due to the violence
3) Sexual Offense in the Fourth Degree, due to the age difference.
4) Assault? Battery? Kidnapping? Malicious wounding? Seriously: throw the book at them.

These do not sound like evidence of consensual sex, and agreeing to sex with one person, isn’t agreeing to sex with his friend too.
If what you posted is true about this case, I retract my comments about her being responsible. Even if she DID post the pictures, that doesn’t justify what happened. It’s the “you can’t rape a prostitute” type of defense.
