ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) - A North Carolina jewelry store is getting lots of attention over its newest billboard.

Several people contacted News 13 to say they were upset about the billboard.
Ellen Perry is one of them. Perry is a literature and humanities teacher at UNCA and AB Tech. She is planning a protest outside the store on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.
Perry told News 13 she's supported by the Women's Rights Committee, Stronger Together WNC North, and the Equal Rights Amendment Committee within Indivisible Asheville.
Perry said she will continue to organize protests until the billboard is taken down.

The rant is from a Gender professor at a local university who goes through all the PC reasons this billboard was a bad idea. Quite funny in a ridiculously absurd way.

That billboard and the protest is going to be very lucrative for the jewelry store. Now they are getting a ton of free advertising.

Spicer Green Jewelers is the 2nd generation at this location in Downtown Asheville. The original for decades before was called Wick & Greene and was a traditional, stuffy, high end and high class joint. The kids bought out the parents and said they’d take a different route. Indeed they have!
I hope they succeed beyond their wildest dreams and throw a cubic zirconia rock at the lib bimbo as a fake outrage consolation prize.
