Dan Rather says the failure of the GOP healthcare bill to pass is the most "staggering loss" he's ever seen so early in a president's term, warning Americans that the blame game by the Trump administration is just beginning.
"Stunning. A complete defeat that I don't think anyone would have predicted in the manner that took place," the former "CBS Evening News" anchor wrote in a Facebook post Friday. "The morass of blame is only beginning."

Isn’t Dan Rather, curmudgeon commie, dead? If not, then why not?
Exactly, not only was that a failure it almost led to a nuclear war. It doesn’t get any worse than that. My mother was pregnant with me at the time, she always use to say Kennedy almost had me aborted LOL! We were living in New York city at the time which always seems to be the #1 target. Oh yeah and not only did it almost lead to a nuke war, it ended up with the Berlin wall being constructed. I think that is a hell of a lot worse than a freakin’ bill not being passed! This Dan RaTHer is a complete moron.
Remember the good old days when someone who disgraced themselves and got fired for it slunk away in shame and saved the rest of us the embarrassment of having to deal with them?
Remember that?
Trump has been working at the job for 2 months. Come back in March 2018, Dan.
(And, Kenneth, what is the frequency?)
Over time, the National Enquirer has been a consistently more reliable source. Sure, they have gotten a LOT wrong, but when they are right, they have hit the target much more closely than SeeBS.
True, most of their stories are sensationalist in nature, but that is beside the point. People pick up the Enquirer for entertainment, EXPECTING the stories to be unmitigated BS, but SeeBS starts out with the expectation that they are “unbiased”, a reputation running back decades, and they disappoint time after time.

The whole repeal/replace process from start to finish was a mistake. A big one. It’s understandable that they tried to rush it through given the political dynamic at play....BUT they were not ready.
It’s not the end of the world and they should learn form this mistake and move forward.

“Sorry Dan, it’s a complete victory for Trump as he prepares the battlefield
I agree. I would have liked Obamacare to be gone yesterday, but it is failing of it’s own massive weight. Paul Ryan screwed the pooch, he’s outta there. Now we’ve got a chance to do it right, out in the open.
The Democrats created Obamacare and now Republicans can’t fix it and it is their fault for not fixing it? The Dems. didn’t get one vote to fix it.
Dan “Gimme’ a show, I can still play ball” Rather
I don’t know about ‘staggering’, but a loss is a loss. The scoreboard doesn’t lie. I don’t think that you can hang this one on the administration, however. We were hearing about Ryan’s plan way before the election took place. Ryan was calling the plays for this one.
Leftists, today have ZERO forward vision. It is a “catastrophe” for TRUMP that zerocare, presently doing a Hindenberg, is the law of the land?

I favored the bill because the President did. However, in retrospect I see its defeat as a blessing in disguise.
On the plus side, dan rather is very old. We all know what that means. Bye, soon, dan, you dishonest, disengenuous putz.
Agree about THE ART OF THE DEAL comment. President Trump, love saying that, is not a politician and does mot respond like one. The politicos are still thinking and reacting as politicians would and they do not understand the new dynamic in the White House.
