Beloved Texan Freeper, Tom Eaker (Eaker on FR), has left us.
Prayers to family and friends in this most difficult time.
I just heard about this. I am devastates. Many prayers to his wife, Mary.

One really begins to feel one’s mortality when those younger than you cash their chips in. RIP Eaker. Prayers for all.
Thoughts immediately of Eakers good friends here on FR for I know "this hurts" ...trusting God to comfort your pain and great sorrow as you grieve....may you find such comfort soon....for as is written...."He bore our grief and sorrows"...

It was so unexpected for both of them. Hurts so much!
Thank you...he had so many friends and his family is trying to cope with this huge loss.
I am so glad to see this memorial for Tom.
He was an awesome man and will be missed.
Two of our dearest lost in the same week.

Tom was one of the first posters to welcome me to FR and was a FRiend these last 10 years.
He was tough, sensitive, smart, funny, and kind. He was a gentleman. He adored his family and was loyal to his friends. We’ve lost a good man.
I know, I had the honor of meeting him in person for our Shoots in Texas.
The loss of Tom, and the loss of NYTexan within three days of each other was a terrible loss to a lot of people.
They too, were very good friends to one another.
I know you are shocked, we all were!
Keep him and his family in your prayers, as will I.
I know your heart hurts, too.

I am so sorry. Condolences and prayers.
Thank you for this ping. Been so busy the last month I hadn’t opened FR. Sitting here with tears flowing over NYT and Eaker both. Just texted hubby the news, both guys made him feel so welcome at the shoots even tho he’s not a Freeper. They blessed me tremendously just for welcoming him with their open arms. I see there’s a gofundme for Eaker. I so need to bless these families. Hugs Miss W, cause I sure need one right now.
Laz seems we are losing a lot of good people lately, smoothsailing informed us a few months ago he was very ill haven’t heard a word since!! God Bless Tom’s family !!!!

It has been a very traumatic time for all of us. These two were the backbone of the group...along with some others. And they will always be missed so much by everyone!
The news we got from each passing was such a shock!
Certainly going to miss them both.
It won’t be the same around here without ‘em.
It’s been a tough couple of weeks.
