Democrats Hoped to Hurt Trump, but Raised Suspicions of Obama

The mainstream media have been doing a victory lap since the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National Security Agency (NSA) confirmed on Monday in testimony before the U.S. House Intelligence Committee that President Barack Obama did not wiretap Trump Tower. But that was already known. There was only one new revelation at the hearing, and it was a bombshell: senior Obama administration officials could have known the identities of surveillance targets.

One of those targets, retired General Michael Flynn, lost his job after it was revealed that his conversation with the Russian ambassador had been monitored, and that he had discussed sanctions relief, contrary to his early private an public claims.

Yet Flynn’s identity was never supposed to have been revealed. The surveillance of the Russian ambassador, routine though it may have been, yielded classified information, and the identity of any U.S. citizen swept up in it should have been redacted.

Comey was in full Weasel mode yesterday. Squirmin’ like a worm on a hot sidewalk. Any doubts remain why he didn’t recommend indictment for Hillary?

It wasn’t Comey asking the questions, yet Gowdy failed (as he always does) to ask the two men in front of him under oath if they were the onese who disclosed General Flynn’s identity and/or the content of the surveillance he was caught on.

What the hell is wrong with that guy? All talk, nothing else. Just like Issa and the rest. Talk is cheap. In fact, talk is worthless.

Post #4- Read the following article from July 2013. Did the surveillance occur at a different site using other monitoring systems?

Gowdy is a careful interrogator facing an equally savvy suspect. Likely asking if either Rogers or Comey disclosed classified intel would elicit a truthful “no”. Then, down the memory hole.

As it is, we know 10-30 individuals between the two agencies had access. Narrows the field by quite a lot.

The young female R critter (forget her name)began to establish another timeline, one of mandatory disclosure to superiors. Caught Comey saying there was no DNI at the time, when there was. Oops.

Cat and mouse. It’s how this sort of thing is done. No one is in their first rodeo except maybe the young woman I mentioned and I don’t know if she has a criminal law history.

That missed opportunity was small potatoes compared to the dozens of other questions they did not ask. We still don’t know Herbert they bugged Trump Tower. All we know is that Obama did not order it if they did. We don’t know if Obama ordered other wiretaps. We don’t know if Obama changed the distribution rule after being told that they had Flynn on a wiretap. We don’t know if Comey is investigating a Trump bank account. We don’t know if someone at the FBI tipped off Hillary that they were investigating a Trump bank account. It goes on and on.

Gowdy made it clear that pretty much everyone in the WH had access to the Flynn transcript. That was the testimony of the day.

Is there any question they were leaking?

This was the public “show”... there are still closed door hearings. That is what Gowdy said later. What was said during this “show” could come back to bite them under oath in the closed door, “secret” meetings.

Susan Rice, Valerie Jarrett and the Bamster hisself are mere citizens and no higher nor more immune from the law than you or me.

All should be called to account in sworn testimony.
