Not to mention you have to use subsonic ammunition for the suppressor to be effective.

You have to understand some of the facts of life. Democrats are the only ones that truly understand firearms. That is why they are the only ones that promote “gun control.”

Democrats understand that firearms, by themselves are evil and can kill. That is why Firearms always need to be locked up, have small magazines (yes they are not clips), and be kept out of the hands of most people. (/sarcasm)

And exactly how have the laws making noise suppressors illegal (without special license) stopped the use of firearms by criminals and terrorists to commit murder and mayhem?

All it does is generate a small amount of revenue for the federal Government and prevent legal gun owners from having ready access to a simple device that can help reduce hearing loss.

Criminals and terrorists don’t seem care how much noise they make. In fact the noise works in their favor as it induces fear and terror.

And if they illegally use a gun to commit murder what is stopping them from using a noise suppressor?

Not the law - If laws worked there wouldn’t be any crime at all.

If criminals really wanted suppressors they’d already have them.Anyone with basic metal working abilities can make one in an afternoon.

Police and witnesses maybe can’t hear arrows released from bows, or crossbows either. They can’t hear knives, swords, hammers, pickaxes, hatchets,

People who kill with guns do not care how loud the shot is. They know that by the time even the cops get there, they will be gone from the scene. They also know that no one is going to go rushing to the sound of a gunshot, they also know many people are scared of hearing a gunshot. Movies exaggerate how silent a suppressed firearm is.

How many cases do the police solve where they never heard the gun being fired in the first place? Probably in the 99.99% range would be my guess. So her argument is just plain stupid on the face of it.

You can still hear a suppressed firing of a gun. It is just a little bit quieter. Anyone saying otherwise is a liar.
