The Trump administration is contemplating even deeper cuts to the Environmental Protection Agencys (EPA) budget than whats already been reported by news outlets.
President Donald Trumps budget proposal called for cutting EPAs budget 25 percent, or $2 billion, and reducing the agencys workforce 20 percent, or 3,000 employees. EPA global warming programs, grants to environmental groups and state grants are reportedly on the chopping block.
But now the White House is mulling even deeper cuts, a source familiar with budget talks told Axios. The source told Axios [s]enior Trump officials consider the EPA the leading edge of the administrations plans to deconstruct the administrative stat

No, amputate past the first joint, else it will grow back................
The EPA is restricted to one building in the District, and no more than ten buildings elsewhere in the world. None of their buildings maybe be larger, in terms of square feet, than the largest Elementary School Building (not built after the passage of this law!) in the District of Columbia.

[Just more than half of the EPA building on the Mall in DC]
Declare all EPA offices hazardous waste areas and “temporarily” close them for repairs.
Next.
That's impossible. Needs an internal pressure to happen, but there is nothing in there, and thusly, nothing to expand.
But, there is always a need for duct tape to keep the lieberal heads from imploding.
“Trump also proposed cutting EPAs $700 million program that subsidizes replacing old diesel engines in buses and trucks. The EPA inspector generals office found the program was used to replace vehicles that would have been replaced anyway due to normal attrition.”
So we have “welfare recipients” in the trucking industry. This is just another “cash for clunker” debacle. A billion here, a billion there, soon you’re talking about “real money!”
“Turn control of the climate over to God.”
I’m sure government would screw it up, but I could almost support true climate control.
Rain on a regular schedule and aim hurricanes at your enemies: sounds like an Asimov novel.
The FRENCH National Hair-Cut is the perfect cut.
Better to try, convict, and execute them for their crimes against humanity, now.
“A good deal of the Federal government/agencies have become an employment for Libs/Dems/Progs scheme. Trump needs to cut them back to the quick. Pronto.”
Oh, yes. Let them languish in “there ain’t no jobs” hell for a while.
Can Trump work on cutting the IRS...NEXT!!!!
“Just more than half of the EPA building”
That would be perfect for a conservative graduate school. Everything would be in the same building.
If congress wants to keep EPA employees they should be willing to cut their staffs instead. They choose
Building on successes....
When you have employees who squat and take dumps in hallways and elevators, you have an excess of employees.
After the primal defecators are laid off, next to go need to be those who have squashed farmers for having ponds and puddles on their properties.
100%! Eliminate the damn thing!
The “peace dividend:)
I see it as a declaration of war against government malfeasance. So many government agencies do not manage the funds they are given wisely and in a way which puts America first. Drain the swamp.
LOL
Yes, or something like that...
Hah.
I’ll support Trump where he’s right, and criticize him where he’s wrong.
Here he’s absolutely right, and could go even farther as far as I’m concerned.
The whole agency could be zeroed out and America would be better for it.
Go for it, Donald!
The EPA budget needs to be cut to zero. Then all those people with nothing to do need to be fired. Then the useless agency needs to be dismantled and office content and any real estate sold at auction.
