ObamaCare is imploding. It is a disaster and 2017 will be the worst year yet, by far! Republicans will come together and save the day.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 13, 2017
We are making great progress with healthcare. ObamaCareis imploding and will only get worse. Republicans coming together to get job done!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 11, 2017
Despite what you hear in the press, healthcare is coming along great. We are talking to many groups and it will end in a beautiful picture!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 9, 2017
I feel sure that my friend @RandPaul will come along with the new and great health care program because he knows Obamacareis a disaster!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 8, 2017
Don't worry, getting rid of state lines, which will promote competition, will be in phase 2 & 3 of healthcare rollout. @foxandfriends— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 7, 2017
Our wonderful new Healthcare Bill is now out for review and negotiation. ObamaCareis a complete and total disaster - is imploding fast!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 7, 2017
It seems people don't understand what "negotiations" means. They are calling the bill all sorts of names, drawing lines in the sand, and declaring opinionated absolutes, all in complete opposition to the bill that's been introduced. It's apparent to me most people doing that don't have any real experience in the art of negotiation. You don't negotiate by declaring the starting point DOA. Negotiations doesn't work that way. I've seen many new to negotiations with that kind of attitude come to realize it doesn't work.
The other thing I wonder is how the severe critics reconcile the fact Trump is behind the three phased approach. Personally I trust Trump more than the negative commenters here, after all he wrote the book on negotiations, The Art Of The Deal.
Misspelling “how” as “hoe” should get some traffic!
How to get hoes to reconcile, that is the question?
“...hoe to reconcile”
I’m fairly certain that is just Trump’s reference to him agreeing that trampish Ryan’s use of reconciliation to pass this TrumpCare boondoggle is the way to go forward in a progressive way.
“ObamaCare is imploding and will only get worse. Republicans coming together to get job done!”

Yes, Mr. Trump. It WILL get worse. If you and the Congress manage to pass this current version of your RINOCare bill - will we not look back and long for the days when we HAD ObamaCare??
Fortunately for us - this POS bill will never make it out of the Senate. So yeah - Thankfully “the Republicans ARE coming together to get the job done”.
The job being to REJECT ObamaCare 2.0.
I think that Paul tweet was really offensive. Trump seems to have learned and not gone after conservatives like that via Twitter since.
I wouldn’t go so far as to call the opinionated absolutists hoes but, yes!
The question is how do the absolutists here reconcile the fact Trump is committed to the bill being reviewed and negotiated.
How do they reconcile that “repeal” means different things to different people.
How do they reconcile that Trump said he wanted to keep some things in the ACA, like insurance to cover preexisting conditions.
Absolutists are essentially positioning themselves against Trump.
Anyone who has done formal negotiations knows that absolutist positioning doesn’t work. I think that is the problem with that kind of thinking.
Draining the swamp is a tough row to hoe.
Rand Paul’s repeal bill is a farce.
Not only do most absolutists here obviously nave no negotiating experience Rand apparently doesn’t either.
Is use of reconciliation Ryan’s idea - or Trump’s?
Do you seriously think Trump is getting fooled by Ryan?
I think Trump is on board with the bill and process Spicer’s been outlining all last week.
One problem you seem to miss or ignore: the Democrats and RINOs do not negotiate in good faith. Never did.
Precious few of them even talk the talk of liberty, much less support it in earnest.
Unless government is out of it all together, it will always be a political football and subject to the whims of whatever ideology prevails at any particular time.
***We need the Reaganesque attitude of “Government isn’t the solution to our problems, government IS the problem.”!***
And that, sir, is why anything less than total repeal should be DOA. You see - freedom is non-negotiable.
I thought Trump was twisting the cat’s tail, shaming Ryan by suggesting the cavalry needed to come to the rescue. Also encouraging Rand Paul to put up something workable.
That was the one tweet that bucked me up lately because it suggested that behind the scenes both the sledgehammer & the rapier are being prepared to get a true repeal sequence rather than the forging of new chains to bind us and drag us down.
It should have read — “... RINO ho’s to reconcile”
Jay Sekulow says this is bill 1of three.. I trust Sekulow more than any other conservative action group. So what about parts 2 and 3.
New fur coats for all?
Reconciling with a hoe is usually easy. Just spend more money.
“The job being to REJECT ObamaCare 2.0.”
An example of an absolutist position that doesn’t work in a formal negotiation process. It’s not an example of The Art Of The Deal. So easy to say - a very different thing to execute. So really, it’s not a very helpful position.
What was Paul’s tweet?
Which hoe?.......There are so many in DC...........
Ryancare is a rearranging of Obamacare and does not repeal the power given to Fedzilla over everyone’s health care.
Repeal for real means removing the Federal government from a central role and control of everyone’s medical records.
It is a mistake for Trump to bet his whole Presidency on this bad bill.
