DANA LOESCH: I think it's an insult. It's an insult to the American people and it's an insult to the Trump administration for Republicans, Congressional Republicans to deliver this bill to his desk.
They are the ones who are endangering this new administration and I can't bold, italicized, underline that anymore.
In 2015, Jim Jordan had a fantastic bill that went way further than anything that this bill is doing and it actually lowered prices instead of increasing prices, which is what this 'Obamacare 2.0' bill does and I don't know why, for the life of me, they will not go back to that, because it was already on the floor.
This is a swamp monster. If people are going to talk about draining the swamp, this is literally the creature from the black lagoon, this Obamacare 2.0 bill. The exact Obamacare regulatory structure is still in place, the penalty that must be paid to insurance companies is there, and for all of the awful things were in Obamacare, one at least wise thing Democrats did was include some cost controls, albeit nobody liked the method in which they did it. But now in this Obamacare 2.0 bill, Republicans did away with all of that. So it could actually end up costing exponentially more than what the original Obamacare bill did.
This isn't about President Trump. I think that there's a lot of great things that he's done, just in his first month in office. But for Republicans to deliver something like this to his desk, I'll just say it, it's a giant middle finger to America, it's a giant middle finger to the Trump administration, and we did not protest in the street for eight years to get Obamacare lite.

There is a 30% up charge penalty if you aren’t covered the. Go get the insurance when you have an issue.
We are 20 trillion short in annual operating budget and 200+ trillion in unfunded liabilities but I need to stop!!?? We need to spend more!? No I think you are embarrassing yourself and should apologize in advance to your children their grandchildren and their grandchildren after them for spending on crap I don’t want coming out of my pocket on money that doesn’t exist! But hey the state supplemented nanny care is for the chilllldreeeen and infrastructure spending to fix another state’s roads who opt to squander their own money should not be my damn debt to pay! Screw that!
I do love Trump truly but to not challenge him on spending money we don’t have no way I’ll fight him on this. To add to my point...
Where we may part is on the bridges, roads airports etc. Almost 20-40 cents of every dollar pumped in my tank goes to the federal highway fund (or supposed to) with additional taken by states. Neither explore, produce, ship or deliver gas just regulate and tax. Yet we are told we need a trillion more dollars taxed here there at birth death and everywhere in between but they need more and more and more.
Listened to a radio program where President Trump was describing shingles falling off within the Lincoln Tunnel as a basis for his spending. A caller called in to complain that everyday to get to work she pays a toll to get from one borough of NYC to the other and back. A toll that was suppose to go away. It costs her 30$ everyday to take this toll to get to work. She is informed the toll is to pay for roads. But we need another trillion? Im sorry but if states arent taking care of their roads and spending that money irresponsibly on socialist programs why should I pay for another states malfeasance? When is enough enough? Ill posit it isnt even in the federal governments purview to spend federal money on state local roads. Highways yes but it doesnt take a trillion.
If Dana Roach had her way, hillary would be president. Filthy sewer rat.
One would think that, by now, this would be understood.
President Trump did praise the rollout of this bill; however, very soon thereafter, he stated that it's "incomplete" and said that his administration will be happy to listen to the concerns of his conservative supporters and critics of this Ryan-sponsored bill.
So, as usual, the hand-wringing are misplaced, and historically this has proven to be the case several times already in less than 2 months of the President being in office.
It appears to me that the hysterics are emanating from two places:
We are at the very beginning of a long and drawn out process. The chances of this Ryan-sponsored bill getting to the President's desk as is, completely unchanged, are ZERO! Let that fact sink in.
The President's Press Secretary Sean Spicer said in a recent briefing:
"The president's also been very clear through all of the discussions ... that as he meets with members of Congress and outside groups, that if someone's got an idea that can make this legislation more accessible, give more choice to the American people, drive down costs, make it more patient centric, he wants to listen to it."Additionally, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Friday said President Trump is open to changing parts of the House GOP's ObamaCare repeal bill:
Actually, I think the president is very open to negotiation I talked to him again last night by phone. Ive talked to him twice a week."Paul also knocked an argument being echoed by both House and Senate leaders, that GOP lawmakers face a decision of supporting the House bill or supporting ObamaCare.
"That isnt sitting well with conservatives, and I promise you, the more we hear Paul Ryan say, Take it or leave it, the less were willing to take it."Given that the Senators Cruz and Paul have insisted that the bill as currently constructed will not pass the Senate, it seems certain that the legislation will undergo significant change before the President has any opportunity to sign it.
Therefore, and especially at this very early stage, all this hysterical knee-jerk second-guessing is absurd on its face...
read the bill.
my reading indicates that the of the obamacare mandates remain in the law (plus a new one called the loopback penalty) the penalties (or tax according to roberts) appear to be cleverly zeroed.
meaning later they can simply be put back by filling in the amount. not very comforting at all.
It appears the Conservative Republicans are taking the lead from their liberal Masters. Again.
The Conservatives understand the the goal of the Democrats, destroying America, is a worthy goal and one that must be achieved. The Conservatives simply think it should be a slower, more deliberate process and that they will be able to manage it better.

Again, you’re simply wrong. That’s Republicans you’re talking about, not conservatives. I’m not even sure you understand what conservatism is.
She is a NeverTrumper and a concern troll.
You’re Establishment.
I’m with Miss Hot Stuff on this
And yes she is anti Trump much like you
Mark Levin explained last night how the Senate can repeal Obamacare.
Ryan is lyin.
LYing Ryan works with Romney and Soros (partners in JETBlue)
to destroy President Trump’s adminstration.
THIS WILL DO IT. If this is passed
President Trump’s base will be .... gone.
Not too lengthy. They want this passed by Easter.
Trump can listen to anything and anyone he wants. But this is Ryan’s bill and he’s not listening to anyone. This will be voted on in pretty much the shape it’s currently in, with all it’s warts and flaws. And when this train wreck hits the president’s desk he will sign it. And at that moment it becomes “Trumpcare”. And when it fails it will fail as “Trumpcare”.
Every time anyone from congress or the Trump admin tries to sell this insult of a bill, they misrepresent the bill and its impacts and thus insult, or attempt to insult, the public’s intelligence.
Setting it up that we have to accept an at least as bad new version of Obamacare in order for them to repeal Obamacare could not be a more offensive and deceitful message.
As is their entire claim that they can’t repeal Obamacare outright under reconciliation. Reconciliation, almost from the time it was introduced in 1974, has been used to permanently change, add, or delete legislation, and every inch of legislation on this topic meets the reconciliation criterion of impacting the federal budget.
If the Dem-appointed parliamentarian (who btw should have been replaced by now) doesn’t approve such a bill, Pence has the authority to come in and overrule her.
The reconciliation excuse is entirely bogus—but they think we will fall for it.
There has not been a free market in medical and hospital services since 1948.
Restoring one, if that’s your objective, will take 50 years and the support of a majority of the people.
Almost every transaction that has taken place during your lifetime and mine has been paid for, directed, or controlled by the Federal government.
I haven’t focused on this thing yet, my apologies; I’m not on either side yet. Any answers or links to help with these questions?...
Does the bill:
1) Somehow allow the “pre-existing conditions” rule, while strongly incentivizing people to get insurance and keep it? If not, and people say that rule must be there, people will tend to buy insurance when a catastrophic illness occurs, raising our rates significantly.
2) Provide the self-employed and unemployed the same [free-market interfering] tax code incentives that the majority of us who have employer-backed insurance get (via our employers).
Also, to those critical of the bill, remember Ryan is trying to avoid the need for 60-votes in the Senate, so non-budgetary issues (like tort reform) must be excluded, for now.
Well said, Sargon. Maybe Trump is giving Ryan just enough string to hang himself and the rest of the GOPe.
Bannon and Trump getting fooled by Lyin’ Ryan? Ain’t gonna happen.
