Dana Loesch: Paul Ryan Obamacare Plan A "Middle Finger" To American People, Trump
Real Clear Politics ^ | March 10, 2017 | Ian Schwartz

Posted on 03/10/2017 8:40:28 PM PST by TBP

DANA LOESCH: I think it's an insult. It's an insult to the American people and it's an insult to the Trump administration for Republicans, Congressional Republicans to deliver this bill to his desk.

They are the ones who are endangering this new administration and I can't bold, italicized, underline that anymore.

In 2015, Jim Jordan had a fantastic bill that went way further than anything that this bill is doing and it actually lowered prices instead of increasing prices, which is what this 'Obamacare 2.0' bill does and I don't know why, for the life of me, they will not go back to that, because it was already on the floor.

This is a swamp monster. If people are going to talk about draining the swamp, this is literally the creature from the black lagoon, this Obamacare 2.0 bill. The exact Obamacare regulatory structure is still in place, the penalty that must be paid to insurance companies is there, and for all of the awful things were in Obamacare, one at least wise thing Democrats did was include some cost controls, albeit nobody liked the method in which they did it. But now in this Obamacare 2.0 bill, Republicans did away with all of that. So it could actually end up costing exponentially more than what the original Obamacare bill did.

This isn't about President Trump. I think that there's a lot of great things that he's done, just in his first month in office. But for Republicans to deliver something like this to his desk, I'll just say it, it's a giant middle finger to America, it's a giant middle finger to the Trump administration, and we did not protest in the street for eight years to get Obamacare lite.

Amazing isn’t it? I’m so glad he won and I’m so glad I supported him way back.

Political miracles and business miracles too.

Maybe certain people are underestimating him for a reason? Trolls tend to do that, I hear.

It’s been an interesting victory for sure.

Agree completely, repeal it. Just get rid of it all.
I don’t trust Ryan any further than I could throw him.

And I’m truly tired of personality cultists Obamabot retread populists. Is anything off the table for a President we support? You ok with his trillion dollar infrastructure boondoggle and his daughters nanny care entitlement?

His economic plans are a liberal crap hole yet so called conservatives say SPEND AWAY BUDDY! unfreaking believable we have to explain these things. And oh by the way I agree with you he isn’t being snookered her truly loves the plan. He said so himself and has threatened the freedom caucus as has Ryan with its passage. Sound like a real republican to you? Attack your own with threats and commercials happening right now within states the freedom caucus resides?

Straight out of the Alinsky playbook

Don’t chill at all speak out and it’s high time we do speak out. I don’t care if it’s freaking Trump. He’s amazing in a lot of areas but is spending plans are completely liberal. Don’t ever be silenced by the Pom Pom dancers when every fiber of your conservative being knows they all are spending us into oblivion.

Replace this with a D in front of their names and these boards would be blowing the hell up. I’m tired of this Obamabot hero worship going on around here. It’s like I read Genesis and forgot the quote on the 7th day Trump rested

I want to KNOW where the HELL is Bannon this WILL NOT pass the senate they are firm!!!

We're going to have to count on Bannon in the President's circle of advisors, and Senators Ted Cruz and Rand Paul in the Senate, to prevent this bill from getting to the President's desk.

Why can't this bill be amended?

Why can't an alternate bill be introduced?

Nobody wants 0bamacare lite!

The President, after initially praising the rollout of this bill, has said that it's "incomplete" and that he's quite willing to listen to the complaints and opinions of his supporters—and other critics of the bill—so we do have that reassurance at least.

I think it's quite evident that we're at the beginning of what looks to be a lengthy and contentious process of review and revision regarding repealing and replacing 0bamacare in general, and this bill in particular.

Another thing that gives me hope is the knowledge that President Trump surely wants to "get this right", and clearly he'd like to take ultimate credit for a successful piece of legislation succeeds in both fulfilling his campaign promise and effectively addressing the myriad problems with 0bamacare.

Additionally, I know for sure that President Trump always "thinks big" and never engages in such yuge undertakings in a half-assed manner.

All of these factors convince me that the President is going to "do the right thing" with respect to the 0bamacare repeal & replace. It seems highly unlikely that either he or his advisors would allow themselves to be "tricked"—by Ryan and the GOPe—into supporting legislation which doesn't effectively address the problem, or, worse, exacerbates it.

So I'm going to keep my powder dry for the time being, avoid being hysterical—God knows somebody has to—and continue to trust this President, who has not let me down so far...

im sorry but a party doesn’t attack their own when the legislation is awful, changes nothing whatsoever and fully knowing it won’t lower prices one iota yet they sell the lie because well...it’s popular....

Tell me what do you call attacking your own and marginalizing your most conservative members publicly to enact action? If not Alinsky then I’m interested in what you would call it. Need I also mention Pubus the insider establishment is best buds with Ryan? They grew up together but nahhhhh he has no influence in the WH. Pubus is working President Trump like a rib bone.

Just stop. You people are embarrassing yourselves. Check the money that previous administrations have sent to other countries and then get back about a trillion that will be spent in THIS country.

If the American people can see OUR money spent on infrastructure, that will do so much for the attitudes of all of us.

I have no problem with the child care breaks for working moms. The key word is 'working'. Let that sink in. Much better than handing people free cell phones.

Rome wasn't built in a day and this country is going to take some time to fix. Pray for our President.

My understanding is that the mandates (penalties), both for individuals and employers, are gone under this bill.

I'm not clear on other provisions of the bill, but that's what I've read so far regarding the penalties...

You read the legislation? I’d like to know what is contained within it that lowers costs whatsoever, turns it back over to the states, kills regulations that prevents an open market and what how pre existing conditions is good for anyone?
