Russia-Trump Campaign Collusion Narrative Disintegrating

In his “Meet the Press” interview on Sunday, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper reaffirmed the conclusion reached in a report regarding Russian influence on the presidential election, prepared during his watch by the intelligence services and the FBI. They concluded that there was no evidence of collusion between Donald Trump or his campaign and the Russian government to influence the presidential election in President Trump’s favor. Mr. Clapper said: “We did not include any evidence in our report, and I say, ‘our,’ that's N.S.A., F.B.I. and C.I.A., with my office, the Director of National Intelligence, that had anything, that had any reflection of collusion between members of the Trump campaign and the Russians. There was no evidence of that included in our report.”   While he could not speak as to any evidence that might have emerged since he left office, Mr. Clapper said that at the time of the report's preparation in which he participated, “we had no evidence of such collusion.”

Everything said by the Obama operatives and the media about Trump and the Russians was a lie.

It’s hard to tell when he’s telling the truth . He did lie once . He could be saying these things to satisfy the Trump Folks so they won’t continue to investigate for the real truth .

I’m figuring the intolerant leftist freaks will now claim that “Trump got to Clapper”.

Dems are covering their own stinky fat butts with lies about POTUS DJT! They know the media will run fast and furious with any psychotic paranoid lie they offer. Truth has become a very difficult commodity to acquire.

Trump was colluding with the Russians and they helped him win

OR

Trump was not colluding with the Russians.

Either way he was placed under investigation that no one outside of the FISA court, Foreign intel committee, and current President was supposed to know about it.

Nothing bad was found? The bug should have been retrieved. How long did the bug remain active? When did Obama start using the bug for political advantage, letting The Cankle know what was going on inside Trumps camp? Who leaked to the New York times?

Obama and Hillary need to be indicted on election tampering and gross violations of FISA security.

Trump is all in on this. The liberals have forces their hand to where if they try to prove the things they say about Trump they will be admitting to breaking the law.

Suck on that liberals.

Sure, we all knew it. As soon as the Bitch of Benghazi went down in flames, the dems looked for someone to blame it on - it certainly couldn't have been HER fault, and they turned to the russian boogeyman. They continue throwing this Sh*t hoping it will stick and the media is an accomplice, all while ignoring the fact that Hillary, her brother and Bubba worked a deal that gave russia a big chunk of our strategic stockpile of uranium in return for hundreds of millions of dollars, which THEY pocketed.

We did *not include* any evidence in our report...

This weasel Clapper makes it sound like they have evidence, but didn’t include it. Even when caught lying , these deep state bastards continue to equivocate. The Obama administration started out with the presumption of guilt for Trump and then used any means nessessary to try and prove it. If the couldn’t find evidence, even with government wiretaps, then they used insinuation.

The FISA court permitted surveillance of a server in Trump tower under the claim of it’s connection to Russian banks. We need to have a Presidential review of all of the raw data collected by that surveillance and find to whom this information was shared....immediately. (BTW, I am guessing this has already been done!)

If a person takes a clue from the liberal handbook, next time they attack on something, accuse them ... attack back.... don’t cower or try to explain.. just attack them!

"....It’s hard to tell when he’s telling the truth. He did lie once...."

It is very easy to tell when a liar is telling the truth. You can't.

The thing about liars and dishonest people, is that they don't ever change their stripes. Once a liar, always a liar. The trust is gone.

If this guy didn't have any compunction in lying to Congress (and then got caught), why does ANYBODY think we should believe his lying ass now as a private citizen on TV?

I don't believe a word he utters.

That narrative might have been plausible two weeks ago, but not anymore. Here's what really happened:

1. The Obama administration -- in collusion with the Clinton campaign -- conducted potentially illegal surveillance on the Trump campaign.

2. They were never concerned about getting caught because they assumed Clinton would win the election and the surveillance would never be exposed.

3. Clinton lost the election -- a scenario beyond anyone's wildest imagination at the time.

4. Everyone involved with the surveillance looks at each other ... realizes that the incoming president and his new administration will have access to all of the internal dealings of the agencies involved in the surveillance ... and says a collective: "Holy sh!t -- what the 'eff do we do now?!"

5. With the cooperation of their media/propaganda partners, all of these characters start running around in November and December spreading baseless stories about "Russian hacking" of the 2016 election -- for the sole purpose of retroactively justifying the surveillance that they knew was going to get exposed.

The whole charade is now coming crashing down, and with just a few Twitter messages over the weekend Donald Trump has smoked all of these @ssholes out of their rat nests.

It has even reached the point of pathetic comedy. The New York Times posted a story on March 4th claiming that Trump had "no evidence" of wiretapping when he made his sensational accusation against his predecessor. And yet the exact same New York Times -- in a front-page article on January 20th (the day of Trump's inauguration) -- claimed that "wiretap data" was used in an investigation of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Some @sshole named Michael Schmidt was an author for BOTH ARTICLES.

The problem isn't the result....the problem is wiretapping every single Trump associate who visited his office.

It did happen because you can't say you didn't find anything if Trump and his associates weren't wiretapped.

Russia was just an excuse.

Does “michael schmidt” have an email address. I’d like to “talk” with him.

Very good and highly plausible explanation. Thanks.

I'm thinking that this is just the tip of the iceberg, since 0bama and his goons had absolutely no respect for the law.

Maybe. He’s not a complete stranger in the media. Apparently he first made a name for himself in the mid-2000s by breaking the story about a number of Major League Baseball players who had positive results on steroid tests that were supposed to be kept confidential.
