One of Rush Limbaughs classic maxims is that when it comes to liberals demands for investigations, its not the nature of the evidence; its the seriousness of the charge that matters.
Thomas Friedman provided a perfect illustration of Rushs rule on todays Meet the Press. Discussing the notion that the Trump campaign might have colluded with the Russians regarding the 2016 election, Friedman said I agree: there is no evidence, which is why we need a special prosecutor or an independent commission to get to the bottom of it.

You cannot be get more discredited than this guy. He’s a true buffoon whose greatest contribution to society is the [bad] example he sets with his own misplaced sense of self-importance. He’s not smart and he’s not right. His time has come and gone and isn’t even visible in the rear view mirror any more.
It is a well known scientific axiom that one cannot prove a negative
If you believe Libby.
No evidence that Friedman was a regular guest at Epstein’s pedo island, but we need to investigate just to be sure.
One man can’t do it alone. Where the heck is the spineless congress?
They’re lunatics. Complete lunatics.
We need a new law to BAN ALL FOREIGN OWNERSHIP OF MEDIA.
Tom Friedman, living proof that complete morons can win Pulitzer Prizes. And Krugman with his Nobel, well, those awards are permanently discredited as standards of excellence.
Trey Howdy for special prosecutor or recess appointment to deputy attorney general
That wasn’t the worst thing Friedman said. He also said, if what Trump was alleging is true, an “adult” would first inform members of Congress, and assemble a news conference with facts... This is evidence that Trump is a “juvenile”.
I thought: Yea, right.... that’s how the OLD GUARD would do it. Then, the CongressCritters would leak it to all their friends, and they would control the narrative. Instead, Trump leaks it to Levin, then, Breitbart news, then tweets about it and waits for the Dem’s heads to explode.
At least, I PRAY that was Trump’s plan.
As we have come to learn, after many of these special prosecutors, is that they quickly show themselves to be nothing more than political hit men. I see absolutely no redeeming qualities of a special prosecutor at all. Ditto for Thomas Friedman.
Thank you
That makes it sound too respectable. It is insanity. (yea, I know insanity is a form of mental disorder, but mental disorder is to nice and makes it sound curable).
