The claim Russia interfered in the election was the cover story to conceal the Obama House/Deep State surveillance of the Trump campaign
Back on 10th October 2016, shortly after the US intelligence community published its first claim that Russia was trying to interfere in the US election, I wrote an article for The Duran in which I pointed out that the true story was that for the first time in its history the US intelligence community was interfering in a US election in order to swing the election behind its favoured candidate – Hillary Clinton – and that the practices the US intelligence community had honed to interfere in elections in other countries were now being imported to the US.
In an article for The Duran on 31st October 2016 – just a week before the election – I said that Hillary Clinton and her supporters had a planted a bomb under US democracy by orchestrating a campaign claiming that her opponent Donald Trump was the favoured candidate of Russia, and that the result would be that if Donald Trump were elected his legitimacy as President would be challenged.
In a further article for The Duran on 10th December 2016, in the fraught run up to the inauguration and whilst the Democrats and the Hillary Clinton campaign were actively lobbying electors on the Electoral College to disregard the results of the election and to vote against Donald Trump, I said that the CIA and the US intelligence community by playing up the paranoia against Russia were engaging in what amounted to a coup against the country’s constitutionally elected President. The word ‘coup’ is now also being used by people like Mark Levin to describe what has been happening.

This is, in my opinion, essentially what happened. Love to see team Trump bring in Rudy to lay this all out to the American public.

The Obama team's certainty about Hillary Clinton winning the election is what would have given them a false sense of security about conducting surveillance on Trump and getting away with it. That means they probably weren't conducting the surveillance to obtain damaging material about Trump in the event he WON the election -- but to use it as leverage to make him disappear from the public spotlight after he LOST.
This would reinforce a theory that had been presented sometime after the election that seemed a bit outlandish at the time but now seems very credible. Someone posted an article or blog post with some inside information from the Clinton campaign describing how she botched the election completely. The person who wrote this said Hillary Clinton was very concerned about a scenario -- that was the exact opposite of what actually happened -- in which Clinton won the election but Trump won the popular vote. Clinton feared that Trump would use that as a rallying cry to damage her credibility and hassle her on Twitter and in public rallies every day for the next four years. This was why Clinton spent so much time even in places like California where she didn't have a chance in hell of losing. She simply wanted to inflate her popular vote numbers -- never dreaming that her strategy would end up being a huge blunder that cost her in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

It has weak legs, though, because Watergate as a damaging phenomenon depended on the MSM drumbeat telling the voters night and day that it was ILLEGAL and UNCONSSTITUTIONAL and EVIL and a CONSPIRACY by the PRESIDENTt against the PEOPLE! MSM is on the other side of this one and it becomes HEROIC RESISTENCE to MUSSOLINI or even HITLER REDUX.
Trump and his people need to EXPLAIN this, how framing the exact same crimes by a propaganda media is basically aiding and abetting criminals.
If it isn’t ok for Republican presidents to do, then it is just as illegal when Democrats do it. This should be explained to the Americans until even a guy nodding out on heroin in front of CNN understands it.

Sessions' recusal actually makes more sense now that the information that has come to light in the last 24 hours is starting to take shape.
The investigation of the 2016 campaign has nothing to do with Russia, and everything to do with the Obama administration's surveillance of Trump. Sessions had to recuse himself even though he did nothing wrong because there's a damn good chance his phone conversations and/or e-mail correspondence with Trump's campaign team were recorded by the FBI, NSA, etc.
Sessions had to recuse himself from any investigation of the 2016 election because he may be a witness for the prosecution in a case against members of the Obama administration.
He did the job. This is not foreign turf for him, obviously.
I have the exact opposite approach. If you know you have someone in your organization who is leaking to the media all the time, don't ever stop them. Just feed them phony sh!t that they leak all over the place, doing damage to those who think they're using accurate information.
