The claim Russia interfered in the election was the cover story to conceal the Obama House/Deep State surveillance of the Trump campaign
Back on 10th October 2016, shortly after the US intelligence community published its first claim that Russia was trying to interfere in the US election, I wrote an article for The Duran in which I pointed out that the true story was that for the first time in its history the US intelligence community was interfering in a US election in order to swing the election behind its favoured candidate – Hillary Clinton – and that the practices the US intelligence community had honed to interfere in elections in other countries were now being imported to the US.
In an article for The Duran on 31st October 2016 – just a week before the election – I said that Hillary Clinton and her supporters had a planted a bomb under US democracy by orchestrating a campaign claiming that her opponent Donald Trump was the favoured candidate of Russia, and that the result would be that if Donald Trump were elected his legitimacy as President would be challenged.
In a further article for The Duran on 10th December 2016, in the fraught run up to the inauguration and whilst the Democrats and the Hillary Clinton campaign were actively lobbying electors on the Electoral College to disregard the results of the election and to vote against Donald Trump, I said that the CIA and the US intelligence community by playing up the paranoia against Russia were engaging in what amounted to a coup against the country’s constitutionally elected President. The word ‘coup’ is now also being used by people like Mark Levin to describe what has been happening.

If Trump has the thumbdrive, he should do an Assange type dump every couple of days directly to the American people.
There must be a significant unknown component missing in all this. It seems everyone was pretty sure Clinton was going to win, so why the tap, a losing Trump would have been insignificant. Unless, they were interested in finding out what Trump knew about their newly elected Hillary.
I am assuming that Donald Trump has evidence and is just reeling in the usual suspects.
I’d say a big dot was Obama closing the two properties that the Russians owned...I think one on Long Island and another in Maryland. It was a place for Russian Diplomats to reside while in the US. I believe them 72 hours to get out. It sure raised my eyebrows.
Russia is the alibi when it all comes out, i.e. “I had to bug Trump, he was collaborating with those mean Russians.” I bet the bugging started within a day of when Obama first mentioned Russia interfering with the election.
This article — and your cogent analysis — seems to make more sense than anything I’ve heard or read about the “Russia hacked our election” nonsense since the November election.

Remember....Clapper, Brennan and Hayden ALL lied under oath to Congress regarding the surveillance program.
There may have been interest in bashing Trump after the election to finish him off forever.

I think the mistake you are making is in using the term "Obama and Hillary."
Ten bucks says Obama's team also had Hillary Clinton under surveillance as well. Since she was running as a war-mongering globalist who would basically mirror about 95% of what we saw with the George W. Bush administration, I'm sure they didn't trust her any more than they trusted Trump.
If anything, they'd be more likely to use the Clinton surveillance for real blackmail if she had won -- since they already had a treasure-trove of information about her links to Russia from her days as Secretary of State.
