Former President Barack Obama was named Thursday as the winner of the 2017 John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage award.
The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation said Mr. Obama is being honored “for his enduring commitment to democratic ideals and elevating the standard of political courage in a new century.”
Caroline Kennedy, daughter of the late president, and her son, Jack Schlossberg, will present Mr. Obama with the award on May 7 in Boston.
Mr. Obama said on Twitter that he is “humbled to be recognized by a family with a legacy of service.”
The foundation said Mr. Obama’s presidency “consistently reflected in so many ways, big and small, the definition of courage” cited by JFK in his 1957 book, “Profiles in Courage.”

The Left is consumed with the concept of "Participation Awards", which is all these awards have come to represent.
And folks, never forget. Obama participated poorly.
Obama should get an award for lying about Benghazi; an award for using the IRS to harass We The People; an award for creating the most debt in US history; an award for treason involving Iran; and award for ROE that caused many American heroes to lose their lives or be wounded; an award for plotting sedition; and the list goes on! Good thing he found the millions to have such a huge house to hold all his disgusting awards and hosting enemies of the American people so they can plot together, ya think?

We should come up with an Obama Awards Committee to, a few times a year, convene to award a truly appropriate award to him. Racist American of the Century, Divider in Chief 2009 -2017, and the like.
