COLUMBUS -- Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted announced an investigation has uncovered that hundreds of non-US citizens are registered to vote in the state, and dozens of them voted illegally.
According to a release from Husted, 385 people who are not citizens of the United States are registered to vote in Ohio. Out of those, 82 voted in at least one election in the last year.
Husted’s office says the 82 non-citizens who are registered to vote and cast ballots will be immediately referred to law enforcement for further investigation and possible prosecution.
“In light of the national discussion about illegal voting it is important to inform our discussions with facts. The fact is voter fraud happens, it is rare and when it happens, we hold people accountable,” Secretary Husted said.
19 of the 82 non-citizens voted in the central Ohio area. 14 of those were in Franklin County, 2 were in Delaware County and 1 each in Fairfield, Licking and Union Counties.
Any non-citizens identified that remain on the rolls after being contacted twice will then be referred to law enforcement, according to Husted.

We are all anxiously awaiting the investigation of voters in CA.
Yeah, I suspect they dropped off a few zeroes.
Besides the non-Citizen vote, they need to investigate (and stop) the illegal ballot stuffing where one person votes multiple times.
It’s a federal offense... up to 10K fine and 10 yrs in prison.
I’m guessing those guilty will choose deportation.

Can ‘acting dumb’ be an excuse? Motor Voter has to be the issue.
Just a few years ago, I had various newspaper site commenters claiming ‘There is no evidence of voter fraud.’
I think that’s why it’s important that this got put out there. While some one here may be scoffing at the numbers, or questioning the accuracy, it’s now on record that and any time a politician in a debate or some talking head in the media says it doesn’t happen (which they claimed a LOT in the last election cycle) this should be cited, and put in the context of ‘tip of the iceberg’
Waiting for the consolidated database showing driver’s licenses, mailing addresses, social security checks, IRS refunds, voting registrations, voter list, and USDA snap payments. Oh yes, toss in conviction and existing deportation records.
The budget may be balanced and we don’t even know about it.

82 illegals voted out of 385? That means 21% of illegals voted.
So if 21% of 11 million illegals voted, it would amount to 2.2 million illegal votes nationwide.
Every knows that there are far more than 11 million illegals in this country (most likely 30 million). So we probably had in excess of 6 million illegal votes in the last election.
Definitely tip of the iceberg. This is only what they caught so far. It represents only known illegals registering in there own name, not votes from dead people, stolen ballots, etc. Glad to hear talk of prosecution, but this is only the beginning if we are going to restore integrity to the system.
